Clarke Woodruff, D.M.D., tactfully combines the art and science of practicing dentistry to create and maintain beautiful smiles for patients of all ages at his practice in Hellertown and the surrounding Lehigh Valley communities in Pennsylvania. He is a licensed dental surgeon and offers a wide array of exceptional tooth and gum services to his patients, enabling them to have a healthy mouth and good general health. Dr. Woodruff grew up in Lehigh Valley, where he completed his undergraduate degree. He earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine (D.M.D.) from the University of Pennsylvania and received his fellowship of the Academy of General Dentistry after successful completion of more than 500 hours of continuing education. To satisfy his desire to thrive in a diverse setting and create beautiful smiles for our courageous service members, he served as an officer/dentist in the U.S. Air Force for four years. Dr. Woodruff keeps abreast the latest technology and has adopted several new techniques that enhance patient experiences such as digital X-rays, a Crystal Eye® spectrophotometer, and electronic patient records. He also individualizes the treatment plan for each patient after carefully assessing his needs. His continued educational credential equates to an extra 75-100 hours of additional training each year. Dr. Woodruff believes in regularly giving back to the academic community and maintains active membership in the American Dental Association, Pennsylvania Dental Association, Lehigh Valley Dental Society, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, and the American Equilibration Society. Every year, he mentors seven students during their residency in general dentistry at the Department of Dental Medicine, Lehigh Valley Health Network (LVHN), where he also serves as chair. LVHN operates two clinics, one in Muhlenberg and the other in Allentown. Outside of dentistry, Dr. Woodruff has been actively involved with the Bach Choir of Bethlehem since 1982 and even sang for the choir during his undergraduate year.
