Since 1977, Mount Pleasant Nursery School has been providing quality childcare, preschool, and after school care to families residing in Truro, Nova Scotia and the surrounding areas. Children learn through an enriched programming that combines a theme-based and emergent curriculum incorporating experiences that promote intellectual, physical, emotional and social development while emphasizing "learning through play."

Carmie's Preschool and Daycare provides after school care as well as full daycare services for children aged 18 months - 12 years. Carmie's Elmsdale location has been open since 1989. We provide age appropriate learning opportunities that inspire creativity, diversity and promote social, emotion, intellectual and physical stimulation that is appropriate to their age level.
