I believe the cornerstone to a strong physician-patient relationship is trust and honesty. I try to make sure patients leave the visit feeling heard and respected.

My treatment philosophy is to optimize disease outcomes and quality of life using the least invasive techniques possible. This means using smaller incisions and "keyhole" approaches which enables patients to get out of bed and discharged home much quicker than with conventional surgical approaches.

I enjoy working and partnering with Gastroenterologists to diagnose and treat patients with complex digestive diseases and conditions in order to reduce their health risks and improve outcomes.

I believe that open communication and education are the keys to productive patient-physician relationships.
