Introduces mandatory insurance fees AFTER they charge your credit card for reserving a unit. There insurance fee was more than the monthly rental. Company phone number goes to a call center that is no help. You have to go to the store in person to demand a refund. - They are doing illegal billing practises that go agianst Alberta protection laws.

They dont answer the phone ever no matter how many times you call. The lady working there will only call back people that leave a message. She refuses to answer the phone while at work and when I was there last and confronted her politely about never answering the phone she sheepishly admitted that she doesn't answer it EVER and only calls back people that leave msgs. She also takes long breaks in the middle of the day so when I inevitably drive there after getting no answer on the phone it's often closed during regular business hours with a sign that say be back in 1 hour. I tried yesterday at 1130am she was gone for lunch. I tried today at 145pm and it says she's gone till 230. She does t answer phones and is rarely there. Ive had good experiences at other storage mart but I would 100% recommend never to go here.

Thank you to Kristin for helping me getting my refund back after I got charged when I moved out already from my unit. She is very nice and helpful and it didn't took us long to get it sorted out.

I really liked my storage but it is very expensive for me now. Thank you as well StorageMart for giving me a good experience renting one of your unit.

The price was good. However, they launched a new system and secretly increased the price by 50%. I received two bills for Oct (which is funny). The old bill still showed a lower price, but the new bill showed the increased price. This clearly indicates system bugs. When I called the company, a manager said they sent me a notice for rent increase, which I never received.

In the first 3 months the unit was broken into twice. First time they cut the lock. Second time they broke the latch. They were not able to catch or determine how the people got in. No compensation either

We had to put our whole house in storage during a buy and sell house time. StorageMart was in the perfect location for us. The rates were the best we found and we checked several places. The day we checked in Rochelle was so cheery, friendly and helpful. She walked me out to our unit and made sure our gate code worked. Told me everything we needed to know to make our situation stress free and easy. I highly recommend StorageMart!!
