I had an excellent experience with StorageMart in Regina. Stephanie and the entire team were consistently professional, responsive, and extremely helpful throughout my time renting a unit.

From the initial setup to ongoing communication, everything was handled efficiently and with great care. Stephanie was always quick to respond to questions and made the process simple and straightforward.

The facility is well managed and I always felt confident that my belongings were secure. It is clear that customer service is a priority for this team.

New renters can rent a storage unit at a reasonable price, BUT, once you’ve signed a rental agreement and moved in, the rent increases begin. Steep irregular increases but at least 2-3 per year. I rented a 10x20 unit for over 2 yrs. Within that time my rent increased from: $245/mth to $417/mth despite their advising at less than $100/mth (special)/ $184/mth (regular). I inquired at their office and the girl there didn’t give me the courtesy of getting off her chair and coming to the counter. Three times I held my phone up to show her my concerns and she couldn’t be bothered getting off her chair.
She said the rental increase was because they couldn’t get in to do maintenance. The only maintenance would be to change the light bulb. She said I could get the $184/mth but I’d have to move out then move back in.
We all know the difficulties, costs, time and expenses associated with moving. Storage Mart exploits that. They know most people would accept a rental increase rather than dealing with and paying for a move to a different facility.
There is no limit to the increases. The longer you stay, the more you pay, basically gouging their loyal customers.
Avoid Storage Mart. Nothing but a rip off.

Awesome experience. Convenient location. Stephanie was very nice and extremely helpful. She asked my purpose for renting and helped me to decide the right storage size. I had a large storage for almost 12 months. She actually gave me really good deal. Definitely recommend it for short term rentals.

Check in process was super easy. The unit was in great shape and as clean as possible (minor debris from the wind that day but not too bad). Will helped me finish the check in process, and he was very friendly and knowledgable. Overall my experience was great. I had no issues or complaints.

The customer service was exceptional. I initially spoke to someone on the phone who helped me find the unit I needed but also helped with promotions and a great price. I signed up for two large storage units online for $250 per month each, a total of $500 which included a $100 discount. Upon entering the facility to take possession of the units, I was asked if I wanted to enroll in auto pay, and after I said I did, they confirmed I was enrolled in autopay; I also asked about insurance and was also told I didn't need insurance (I had added it to my home insurance anyway). When I logged into my account at the beginning of the following month, the autopay didn't process (their fault, not mine) so they removed the discount, and they also added insurance charges. The total monthly bill was now almost $700. When I called, they didn't add back the discount, and they told me insurance isn't optional and I needed to prove I had insurance elsewhere (no one had said this to me previously). Such incredibly shady business practices. What a scam.

I can't say enough good things about Sam from Storage Mart! I work at Bath & Body Works, and recently, my manager and I found ourselves in a bit of a pickle when we accidentally broke a key inside the lock. Sam came to our rescue in no time. She was incredibly friendly and skilled, managing to get the broken key out quickly and with a smile. Her willingness to help and her positive attitude truly made a stressful situation much more manageable. Super happy by the service!!, Thank you Sam, for your outstanding service! She spoke to me like a dog and refused to show me the washroom at the office. Do better. That is not acceptable. My hope and aim is that a human rights group will one day see this post.

I've never rented storage before and wasn't sure what to expect. Fortunately, I chose StorageMart and have so far had a really excellent experience. The staff are knowledgeabe and kind, the facility is clean and secure and it was a comfort, during a stressful time, to know that my belongings were safe and secure.
