We sat at the bar to watch a college football game. It was late so we'd already had dinner, but we got appetizers and drinks. Bar staff was amazing and took great care of us. Manager came by and we had a great conversation. Great experience overall, will definitely go back.

The place is poorly lit. We waited for a table for 45 minutes and then were seated at a table with no lighting. Had to use our phones just to read the menu. Would not go back at night. Food was good and atmosphere was very lively. Plenty of people watching with the Riverwalk right outside the restaurant. Drinks were cheap enough, I had the Don-Q mojito...very refreshing.

I had a lovely experience at the restaurant. The service was fantastic. Our server was very knowledgeable about the menu, he sounded like he was on one of the tv cooking shows. Also, he made an Arnold palmer for me, even though it was not on the menu.

I had a pork enchilada with an egg on it. The dish was creamy and flavorful. The charro beans were awesome.

Dessert was Mexican donuts with a chocolate sauce on the side. Yum!

Everything worked for. I definitely suggest this place.

While visiting from out of town, I always like to check out local restaurants and experience different styles of cuisine. I decided to stop by Iron Cactus for dinner, and overall, it was a very enjoyable experience.

If you’re looking for authentic, homemade-style Mexican food, this may not be the place you’re expecting. However, if you’re looking for a modern, American-style Mexican grill with great flavors, quality ingredients, and a fun atmosphere, Iron Cactus definitely delivers.

What really stood out to me was the customer service. My waitress, Izzy, was absolutely amazing. She was friendly, attentive, and took the time to recommend different menu options, which made the experience even better. Great service can make a big difference, and she definitely helped make the meal enjoyable.

The outdoor seating area was another highlight. Being able to sit outside, enjoy the breeze, and relax while having dinner created a great atmosphere and added to the overall experience.

The food was good, the service was excellent, and the environment was welcoming. If you’re in town and looking for a solid Mexican grill experience with outstanding customer service, I’d recommend giving Iron Cactus a try. I’ll definitely stop by again the next time I’m in the area.

My first experience with Iron Cactus was far above expectations! The service was very friendly and equally accommodating. The menu had a diverse offering which made it difficult to narrow down my choice with so many delicious options. The food came out quick, and the quality was top notch! The Lobster Tacos and the Brisket Enchaladas are an absolute must! I'll definitely be coming back as often as I'm in town.
