Very frustrating experience. I received a text confirmation from the office for my 1:30 PM appointment, but when I arrived, I was told it had been canceled because I didn’t answer their phone calls. After I showed the receptionist the confirmation message, they agreed to see me, but I still had to wait about 30 minutes. I have been a patient here for few visits, so I expected better communication and treatment.

Incredibly warm and friendly staff, from the receptionist to the doctors! Dr. Alexander is absolutely wonderful, you can tell she really cares about her patients and is so kind and attentive and I love having her as my dermatologist :) The wait times have always been incredibly short for each one of my visits as well

I had a good visit for my first dermatology appointment. Dr. Alexander was great. I wear a mask in public places, and she did not ask whether or not I wanted her to wear one - she just put it on automatically when she saw me. She is the only healthcare provider I've seen who even does that (and I see a lot of doctors). She was good at explaining things, listening, and asking me questions.

I am very dissatisfied with the communication and follow-up from this office. I had a biopsy done over 6 weeks ago and was instructed to contact the pathology department for my results. For the past 3 weeks, I called multiple times a week and never received an answer or callback.

Today, after calling the main office, someone finally transferred me to a department where I was given my biopsy results and informed there was already a treatment plan waiting for me. I asked Brenda when the office planned to notify me, and she stated that she had called and left a voicemail. However, I never received any voicemail or missed message from the office.

What was most frustrating was the communication during the call. When I tried to express concerns about how communication could improve moving forward with treatment, I was repeatedly interrupted and cut off. I even had to state that I could not hear or communicate properly if I was constantly being interrupted.

As a patient, waiting over a month for biopsy results without clear follow-up is extremely stressful. I still had additional medical questions that required a doctor’s explanation, but I was simply told to come back to the office.

Overall, this experience left me feeling unheard, dismissed, and frustrated with the level of communication and patient care provided by this office.

I had an excellent experience at this Water Edge location. From the moment I arrived, I was checked in smoothly and called back super quickly, which I really appreciated. The staff was friendly, professional, and made the visit feel very comfortable.

The doctor was especially wonderful—thorough, attentive, and easy to talk to. They took the time to clearly explain my new psoriasis diagnosis and walked me through a new medication, making sure I understood how it works and what to expect. I never felt rushed and felt confident leaving with a clear plan for treatment.
