We had a gas leak inside the home and called Mark right away. He calmly gave us instructions on how to turn off the gas before his team arrived the same day. Everyone that came to do the repair was on time, professional, friendly and very knowledgeable. They went above and beyond to ensure everything was safe. Price was great. Very happy with service overall!

Technician stole tools from my house, attempted to mark up parts by 300%.

I booked a technician to come and look at my washing machine. He ended up diagnosing it as a problem with the transmission, but there are a number of concerning things with this entire interaction.

1. The technician showed up an hour late late to the appointment.
2. The technician smelled horrible once he did get here
3. The website said the appointment would be $119, I was charged $120 (why add an extra dollar?) and $8 for parking. Total was $144 and change.
4. A quote came the next day to fix the issue. They were trying quote $850 + shipping for a $300 part. They also quoted $650 for labour for 2 guys (this is a 1 person job). Multiple places online state that this is a 2-3 hour job. For two people, that is up to $150/hour. The total came to well over $1700. Their website also says they'll deduct the cost of the initial diagnostic visit, the quote showed a deduction of $99, not $120.
4. I had tools out to uninstall the dryer vent and something on the inside of the washing machine, an adjustable wrench, and an impact drill. Both are now missing from the washing machine area where they were.

There are a number of reviews which say the same thing about the quoting practices of this company. On top of that, they cannot be trusted in your home or things will go missing. The number of positive reviews are from accounts with 1 review, highly likely to be bought/fake.

Stay away from this company, there are other options out there.

We had a great experience with Certified Mechanical. Mark and Michael installed a gas line to our fire pit flawlessly and the quality of their work was excellent. What really stood out was that they went above and beyond by fixing an unrelated issue that needed attention. The team was friendly, professional, and efficient. We highly recommend their services!

If I could give them 10 stars, I would. Professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly kind from start to finish. They quickly identified and repaired multiple gas leaks and took the time to explain everything clearly along the way. It's obvious that this company genuinely cares about helping people and doing the job right. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again and highly recommend them to anyone needing gas services.

Certified Mechanical was able to effectively help me with the issues I was having with one of our commercial smokers.

They arrived, diagnosed and were able to repair in a timely manner. The cost was also very reasonable and the technician Babu was friendly, knowledgeable and curteous the whole time.

I've had my fair share of shifty technicians and was pleasantly surprised that was not the case here.

Would recommend and will use again if we have any issues!
