Good first impression on the facility. Hasitha Answered all my questions and showed me the different unit sizes to pick the right one. Great deals if you pay up front for the year. Unfortunately, once the year is over, unit does go back to regular price.

WARNING!!!! DO NOT STORE HERE!!!!
(Unless you want to get robbed and ignored by middle and upper management.)

We were customers here for about 5 months.
Nearly three weeks ago there was an attempted break in on our enclosed trailer outside. We had to replace the locks ($80) and there was damage to our trailer causing massive amounts of rust to form. We submitted a report with the office on Sunday to which we were assured the district manager would call us. We were at the same time informed that our monthly rate had been adjusted from $130 to $170 a month. A 30% increase with no notice.

On the office desk we saw a pile of cut locks from different kinds of units. Apparently break ins are common, even on the indoor units. ?!?

The whole week went by, no phone call.

The following Saturday there was a successful break in to our trailer to which almost $2000 worth of power tools was stolen. (we had already emptied out what we could in valuables the previous time) Once again I was assured someone would call us. The district manager called on Monday and the first thing he asked was if anyone knew we kept our trailer there and that it was suspicious that the thief went directly to our unit. He started our call off with an accusation, immediately, which is funny because we thought the same thing..
He then went on to say “it’s not my fault. I do what I can with what I’m given, but I’ll have a regional manager call you”
Another entire week, NO CALL. We had even called head office twice to demand a call back.
I went around the property the day after the break in to see how bad the property management actually is.. it’s worse than I would have imagined.

The videos show all of the areas of fence where the barbed wire has been cut or has just fallen down from years of being ignored.
This is 100% negligence.

In the image and one video you can see the guy who stole our tools from the security footage, and all he had to do was hop over a small fence to get into the property. He didn’t have to cut or break anything. He walked to the back of our trailer, looked around, walked back out and motioned something to someone around the corner. He went back to the trailer, broke in and took his sweet time. He arrived at 5:00am, just one hour before the property is accessible. He gained access to the trailer, dumped our shopping bags of stuff out, filled it with tools, and walked out casually. Took his sweet time too. He was in the trailer for nearly 20 minutes.

So.. be smarter than us. Look around the property before blindly trusting that a storage facility is secure. Stupid of me to think that I could trust them to do THE ONE THING they’re supposed to do.

We were robbed and have been completely ignored by middle and upper management. They do not care.
