Today , I visited SmartStop Self Storage and had a great experience, thanks to Soniya. She was incredibly helpful, friendly, and took the time to answer all my questions. She showed us a couple of storage units and explained everything clearly so we could understand our options.

The facility looked clean and well-maintained, and Soniya’s excellent customer service made a big difference in our visit. Based on this experience, I’m definitely planning to rent a storage unit here. Highly recommend this location, especially if you get assistance from Soniya! 😊

Great experience! So seamless with minimal effort to sign-up and reserve a unit. Deb & Sonia at the front desks are gems! Complete assets to the company and should be greatly valued for their dedicate customer care. Walking into the front office felt like a calm and positive work environment. They have definitely incorporated a great work atmosphere for customers to feel appreciated in.

It was so great dealing with Sonia and Debbie at Smart Stop Storage. They made the process so simple and seamless for me and both were super professional as well. The storefront is impeccably clean and organized with supplies. Very much appreciated all of their help and I also used their call centre to open up an account with them. They were also super professional and very helpful. Can’t say enough good about this company! I should also add that they had the most competitive rate in my area for storage as well.

The best SmartStop Storage location in Oakville. Sonya was supposed knowledgeable and super helpful with the promotional rate process. Too bad head office charges clients 2.5x more after 2/3 months of the promotional rate e.g $120 per months shoots up to $230 before fees and taxes.

I have been renting a unit for about 2 years now. All my dealings with staff members have been excellent. They are always in a great mood and ready to help you as best they can. Place is always clean and well organized. I would definitely recommend using this company if you need place to store stuff.

Sonia was absolutely amazing .
One of the best Customer Service personnel that I have come across. Any questions I had were answered in a very professional and simple manner.
She sold me on a Storage unit .
So is is a true Customer Service Professional.
Yesterday I spoke to Debbie who informed me all I needed to know , hence me meeting with Sonia to complete the transaction.

I’m a little late posting this but better late than never . My husband and I needed a storage unit quickly. We went to this particular storage place and were thrilled that we did. What a great experience . The storage unit was a great price and the facility was very clean and climate controlled .
The two ladies who helped us as soon as we walked in (Deb and Sonia) were incredible. They were extremely friendly and helpful and took their time with us.
If we need a storage unit in the future we will absolutely be sure to choose this place again . We highly recommend

I’ve been at this location for six months.

The on-site customer service has been great, and the facility is very clean with easy access to my unit. Overall, I like this location and the people who work here.

My biggest issue with this company and my experience has been pricing.

I was quoted an $80 “promotional” price that would increase to a regular price after a few months and then remain the same. When I specifically asked if the price would change after reaching the regular rate, I was told no. I took them at their word—my mistake was not getting this in writing.

I want a set price, not $80 one month, then $175 the next, and then $250 after that.

I chose this location based on the expectation of stable pricing. Unfortunately, I will be leaving for another facility that offers a set price of $170.

Long term, it feels like this company doesn’t care about retaining customers.

That’s disappointing, because everything else has been great. The on-site managers can’t help with pricing issues, other than suggesting I pay 12 months in advance to lock in a rate. Perhaps giving on-site managers more authority to support customers with these issues would improve the overall experience.

Debbie is amazing. Great customer service. I'm very happy with the facility, clean, bright and well maintained. Easily accessible loading area. Washroom on site. My storage unit is the perfect size, ample space and good condition. Great value and I look forward to using my unit!

The facility is very clean and well kept and the staff are very accommodating. I walked in and Cindy was able to get me set up with a 5x5 for same day move in (I recommend you book online though for cheaper rates and to make the staff's lives easier). Definitely the best storage facility i've used.

We used two storage units here in the past year. A large one for several months and a smaller one for a month during a move. The staff are friendly and efficient, the facility is clean, dry and climate controlled. Our belongings were safe and accessible. I highly recommend them.

So far I have just signed up to rent a unit, but the reservation online was super easy. When I went in to view the unit, Deb was very patient and showed me around the place. She talked me through the rental agreement and explained everything/answered all my questions very well. The place seems very clean, secure and easy for the customers to access. I have had storage in various storage places, and in my experience this place is off the charts! Sonia and Debbie are the perfect examples of what true customer service is! The option to have a covered loading/unloading area is the ultimate! I was in often to access my locker and the facility was always clean and it was clear that the washroom was a high priority. Clean friendly place. Helpful. Very customer focused. Dealt with both ladies there and truly lovely people. Sonia was there last day and was so helpful with some closing out questions. If need storage would only use this facility in the future. Other customers are always very polite too never concern about who is there with you.
