My wife and I passed through here several times a year on our way to go camping and hiking in the Adirondacks. We try to avoid the small town gas stations and shops as much as possible. Staff is very friendly and attentive and we feel very comfortable as black travelers at places like this. The bathrooms are very clean and well kept. Very comfortable rest stop on our way to our favorite camping spot in the Adirondacks.

Today, I first purchased a pack of cigarettes and some chocolate. After settling my bill, I poured myself a very small amount of coffee; since we are truck drivers, my intention was to step out for a moment, return to fill two cups completely, and then head to my truck. Despite the store being crowded with customers, a female employee told me, "Please pay for your coffee." I explained to her that this was merely a partial cup—I hadn't even put a lid on it yet—and that I intended to go out for a smoke, then come back inside to get two full cups of coffee. However, both the male and female cashiers insisted, "Pay for your half-cup of coffee first." I have been a truck driver for eight years, and this is the first time I have ever witnessed such behavior at a Pilot travel center; I informed them that I would be filing a complaint. The cashiers were extremely rude; not wanting to escalate the issue further, I paid for the half-cup of coffee, and subsequently purchased—and paid for again—two full cups. It was an absolute disgrace.

NOT RV FRIENDLY. Car parking blocks turn out, store blocked behind, must exit through neighbor truck lot pot hole over 18- 24inches deep and 3 feet wide. Truckers can park blocking exit behind neighboring building.

Not too bad parking is a little tight one fuel isle was down. The scale works and the line wasn't bad to fill up. They have a Subway inside that's convenient if you're hungry and tired of eating junk. The older lady that works there in the morning was very nice great attitude, but those young whipper snappers behind the register could be more attentive. Overall not a bad truck stop or gas stop for cars.
