I am extremely disappointed with the customer service at the Summit Mall location today. We initially approached around 11:00 a.m. on Saturday and were told they would not be open for another 20 minutes, which was completely understandable.
However, when we returned after they were open, the experience was unacceptable. We stood there waiting to order and were repeatedly ignored by both employees. One of the women making pizza actually looked directly at my husband, rolled her eyes, and walked away without acknowledging us or offering assistance.
I have worked in customer service for years, and I understand that everyone can have a bad day, but there is a basic level of professionalism and courtesy that should be expected especially when you are the face of a company. A simple “Hello, we’ll be with you in a moment” would have been enough.
After looking at the Google reviews for this location, it is even more concerning to see that rude customer service appears to be a recurring complaint rather than an isolated experience. This location either needs employees who want to provide customer service or additional training for the employees representing the company. Customers should never be made to feel like they are an inconvenience simply for trying to place an order.

The lady that was there, saw her about 20 minutes ago. Was super rude, ignored me for the duration of time it took her to make two whole pizzas. Saw me, was about to ignore me until I said something. Then proceeded to give me attitude when I ordered a dragon fruit lemonade (didn't ask me the size either, she just picked the most expensive option) then when she got my drink she then proceeded to slam it onto the counter to give it to me (thank goodness the plastic didn't break). The lemonade was pretty good and was the only enjoyable part of my experience here. It was my first time ordering from here and I have now learned that I will not be making that mistake again unless this costumer service issue is resolved.

Stopped in to grab a slice of pepperoni. Female was making a pizza when I approached the counter. No problem. She eventually turned and looked at me, but never acknowledged me. A male came out of the back and asked me what I wanted. I told him I wanted a single slice and he put a great looking slice on the conveyor belt to heat it. The Female walked over and took it off before replacing it with a dried out looking slice that looked like it was made the say before. I told them I didn't want that slice, so the male replaced it with the original slice. As I walked towards the cash register, I observed the Female take the slice of pizza back off the conveyor belt and replace it with the dried out slice. I refused to buy anything at that moment and asked for a manager. The male told me the Female was the manager. When I asked for a number to corporate, he stated he didn't know it and only works in the back. The Female refused to tell me her name and continued to ignore me. I filed a complaint with corporate and am still waiting for the results, but I don't recommend this store. After looking at other people reviews, I realize I should never have stopped here in the first place. No wonder why businesses are closing, especially when you employ people who ARE NOT customer based oriented or even care about presentation. I will NEVER go there again!
Corporate sent me an email saying my complaint is closed and will be handled internally. I'm so done! Letting everyone know this is the worst SBARRO in OHIO. They like serving old pizza and expect you to pay $5.99 per slice for it! AGo to Dewey's. It's at Summit Mall. You can get fresh calzones and pizza without the attitude!!!
