Arrived on a warm October afternoon with my wife, looking to buy some perennials for next year.
Was greeted by "Mae - May".... young lady with glasses. (Hope i got that right).
Her counter help, named Linnea, was super friendly, well dressed and full of smiles. She offered a lot of help to my wife and myself about our questions re: all the plants etc.
There was a very good selection in the store and outside. (See photos). Prices were fair and reasonable.
Since it was fall, most of the plants, shrubs etc were 40-50% off. (Great deal!)
There is a lot more in the store if you need seeds, pots, clay vases, pictures, plant food etc.
They do have a website also where you can pre-order stock if they don't have it in.
The drive was 40 minutes from our place up north Calgary, but well worth lt because the staff there took the time to sincerely answer your questions and make you feel warm and invited.
Will be back many more times because of their hospitality and knowledge.

Countryside did an excellent job with our landscaping.
Kelly Code was our project manager and oversaw our personal landscaping project. Kelly’s communication with us and diligence in every part of our project from start to finish met and exceeded expectations.
Kelly and her incredible team including co-designer Rob and her job site Forman Fernando, along with others made this project look effortless and there was very minimal hurry up and wait time.

Everyone who has ever tackled a large scale landscaping project involving many moving parts understands there are challenges along the way. The challenges that presented themselves were met with excellent communication and solutions, along side action driven responses.
Our landscaping project came in on budget and within the estimated time frame with exceptional follow up.
We would describe our personal experience with Kelly code and her hardworking friendly team from Countryside landscaping with words like

We came here to pick up Plantskydd Deer Repellent as it is only available here as far as I can tell

The place is peaceful and abundantly natural if you understand what I mean.

I love walking through all the plants, flowers, and trees available for sale. I saw some neat items that I should be putting in my garden.

Countryside Tree Farms is worth driving out for a visit.

Paid $200 for a landscape consult and i was so excited! It took over 2 weeks to get a quote. The construction manager came to look at the space with me not present and decided the job was too small. I am extremely disappointed and frustrated with the wasted time as the likelihood in my finding a good contractor now is very slim. All I have for $200 is a photo (thank goodness I took one) of the sketched design, wasted time, hope and a boatload of disappointment. Correspodence was challenging and spotty. Still have never got a call back when I left a voicemail regarding the tree I originally was looking for before I decided I wanted to explore a project. Quite unprofessional as a whole experience.
**update** I am upgrading from a 1 to a 3 star as I have received my official design. Kelly was lovely to work with and this rating does not reflect her efforts. She offered another contractor to try for smaller jobs. I cannot go higher due to the disappointment in the declined work after a quote and no call return from my original tree inquiry.

Prices are in the mid-to-high range, leaning more toward expensive. place with a great atmosphere. They don’t have many small plants — this place is more focused on medium and large trees
