I am so grateful to Jerry. He got my 1986 Tour Glide back on the road. This has been a long project with money wasted at other shops, other shops that l could not even make it a few miles after leaving their shop. I drove 100 miles to take a chance at Jackman's. I'll gladly drive it again just for the peace of mind that an extremely competent professional will do what needs to be done. Being in a car is one thing to take a chance with a mechanic, on a motorcycle l need to be confident that my bike is in proper riding condition, and if it's not jerry won't shy away from saying so.
He's also great to talk to and hear many great stories of the work he's done. He's a no frills guy who has turned his skill into an art. I appreciate new bikes and how they can be tweaked, usually by computers and machines, but Jerry does it by skill.

Finally, a bike shop that I can depend on. I had my '06 Heritage serviced...tires, brakes, all fluids, and overall checkup and it runs better than it ever has. Staff is friendly and welcoming, even the dogs. They know bikes inside and out and are very reasonably priced. I'll definitely use them for all my service and highly recommend this shop. I sent my 4 speed Harley trans to Jerry Jackman based on the reviews
and also because we were both in Florida. 4 Speed rotary top. Shifting problems. Jerry & staff did a great job! He stands behind his work and is an honest and knowledgeable mechanic and shop owner!
Highly recommended.

After 2 other shops that could not fix my bike I took it to Jackmans. Jerry was able to diagnose and fix the issues. He then kept the bike a few more days and rode it around to make sure the problem was resolved.Incredible customer service! Him and his wife are very friendly and love to talk about motorcycles. I can't wait to get started on some mods I have in mind and now I have confidence in a shop that can do it...

Jerry was referred to me from a friend back up north. I had accumulated a number of ‘mistakes’ with the work on my bike, from rigged lights to poorly spliced wires. Jerry not only fixed and fitted a light to my bike that did not originally fit, but more or less fully serviced my bike and went through every detail to make sure it would run safely and smoothly upon its return to me. I was riding nervously in my sportster for a month - Jerry put my mind at ease. This is the place to go for reliable and honest work. He will not charge you for work you do not need. I will be coming to Jerry and Jerry only for anything my bike needs from now on. 😃
