The customer service person was very polite, professional, knew and understood exactly what I wanted as a change in the account. She quickly made the change. I appreciated her response and am very happy United American is my insurance Company.

I'm very pleased with my experience with United American Insurance Company. They have designed an excellent Medicare Plan F specifically for retired Teamsters members, and it fits our needs very well. The application process was simple, straightforward, and easy to complete.
One feature I especially appreciated was that the first month's premium was only $1. This is a great benefit for people who are switching from another plan because it can save them the cost of an extra month's premium.
Overall, I am extremely satisfied with both the plan and the enrollment experience, and I am very happy to be a member of this plan. I highly recommend it to eligible retired Teamsters.

The customer service agent was very kind, considerate and patient with me as I had to update my account. He stayed on the phone until I was completely done to insure I had no other sign on issues. Very grateful for his customer service support.

Excellent service, good on-line customer support, reasonable premiums. I never need to wait more than a minute or 2 when I call customer support and their agents are always articulate & knowledgeable.

The only issues that I have are that you need to work through an independent agent to buy or change insurance and the agents come and go and there is no way to ascertain the knowledge of the agent. Also, earlier this year they updated their website and made a mess of it. Claims data was not available on their new website for a few months and on the new website it isn't intuitive as to how you access your claims data. After spending several minutes trying different options I finally figured out that after you logon to your United American account you need to 1) scroll down to my policies which isn't visible when the web page loads on my laptop. There is a lot of white space on the web page and if they removed it they could present all of the pertinent info & options on the screen 1st displayed without having to scroll. 2) Click on your policy #, 3) Click on the "View & Manage Policy" button, 4) Click on the "Claim details" which should be displayed as a button.

There are only 4 options available after clicking on "View & Manage Policy" so after clicking on your policy # why not just take you to a page that has 4 buttons related to "View & Manage policy" and a 5th button for "View policy certificate"?

Steve Jobs would not be impressed with the GUI. However, the insurance and service are excellent which is what is most important and, together with original Medicare, certainly better than a Medicare Advantage plan.
