I’ve had a very frustrating experience with this agency. I can’t seem to get a call back no matter how many times I try to reach out. Normally, I manage everything through the app, but I submitted a vehicle change over 24 hours ago, and it still hasn’t been updated. I was told someone would call me, yet instead of a call, I just receive text messages when a call is supposed to happen. This lack of follow-through and communication is extremely disappointing! I’ve been with State Farm since 1993 too

I filled out an online quote form. The next day. Daniel from this State farm office called me and walked me through the quote. He did an excellent job answering all of the questions I had about the policy and the different coverages in a way that was very easy to understand. He was also very candid, and when I asked questions that he was not sure of or that he couldn't give me 100% answer on. He was honest about what he could and could not promise; many agents from other companies that I've interacted with either won't answer the question at all or give me the worst case scenario instead of the realistic answer to cover their butts. He really was the best agent to speak to that I have ever interacted with. I also appreciate that he did not use any hard sale tactics. He simply gave me the information I needed and let me make the decision I wanted. This actually helped him make the sale faster. Typically when talking to any sales person, insurance or otherwise, if the salesperson uses hard sale tactics, I refuse to make the purchase on the call or or at that time, but in this case it was very low pressure and so I felt confident that my stress was not what was causing me to want to make the decision and therefore I could make the purchase on the spot with confidence. Other sales people and insurance agents should take note of this. It also didn't hurt that the price of the auto and home insurance policies I was looking for was competitive from this State farm office compared with progressive Geico and other big names

It should also be noted that I do not give five star reviews lightly. I used to work in customer service and so I understand that anything less than a perfect rating will probably reflect negatively even if it's 4.9 out of five stars. But I have an idealistic perspective where I don't give five stars unless something really could not be improved. Because I understand the ramifications of not giving a perfect rating, I often choose not to give any rating at all if it was not a perfect interaction. I don't think it's up to the consumer to moderate the reality of their interactions for the benefit of the people they are rating. Rather, companies should be more realistic about the ratings that they receive. That said, I wholeheartedly believe that the call I had with Daniel could not be improved and he deserves a 5 star review. Some companies with a high percentage of five-star reviews are paying for those reviews. This company is not

Allstate raise our vehicle insurance and their reasoning for it was Texas new insurance rates?
