I’d have to say the best place I ever used! Also the manager is amazing he was so helpful, respectful, and willing to go above and beyond for me :) The other lady working the front to was kind offering water or giving me options on what unit. Over all they were very friendly at the Gordon location.

Awesome, above average service, storage unit was clean, and easy to access. Love to rent with them again. 100% recommended. I’ve utilized Access Storage on Gordon Avenue a few times now, and every single experience has been absolutely outstanding. The facility is clean, secure, and well-managed, and the entire process is always smooth from start to finish.
Yesterday, Sol (Assistant Manager) and Fikadu (Store Manager) were terrific in helping me set up my new unit. They were professional, friendly, and incredibly efficient. They took the time to answer all my questions and made sure everything was perfectly arranged. Their customer service was truly top-notch.
I highly recommend Access Storage on Gordon Avenue to anyone needing storage solutions. Consistently outstanding service and a terrific team make this location an easy 10-star review!

I had a great experience at Access Storage, all thanks to Fikadu Mengiste. He was extremely professional, friendly, and very helpful throughout the entire process. He explained everything clearly, helped me choose the right storage unit, and made the whole experience smooth and stress-free.

Fikadu’s customer service was outstanding—very respectful, patient, and knowledgeable. Because of him, I felt confident and comfortable using Access Storage. Highly recommend this location and especially Fikadu Mengiste for his excellent service!

Overall, the facility is good. They are very diligent regarding pest control with numerous traps in the hallways. However, there are two things to be aware of:

1. They will push to have you buy their insurance if you don’t have any other insurance such as home owner’s coverage. They don’t like it, but you can simply opt out their insurance and sign a waiver declining it and assuming responsibility.

2. If you are using them for long term insurance, they raise the rental rates arbitrarily every so often.

Overall, we had a very good experience with storing our things recently over the past eight (8) months. We had used same storage facility for three (3) months in 2024.
The facility and grounds were always kept clean and tidy. We found on both rental occasions the staff was polite, efficient and responsive to all our questions. Accessibility to our locker was very good as was the overall site security.
On August 28th 2025, there was an announced rental increase of 13.5% which was disappointing.
When considering renting a storage unit, be mindful of the standard 28 day monthly rental billing period. Also, the period refund process can be problematic to maneuver when deciding on a date to leave your unit.
Customers should be prepared to augment the establishments’ ability to maintain rodent control for the unit. Wooden pallets are helpful rather than placing locker contents directly onto the concrete floor.
In general, we would recommend Access storage to others but with some suggestions as mentioned.

I'm sorry this location is not what it advertises , they are NOT CLIMATE CONTROLED , I rented a unit a month ago and the temperature and moisture in the unit has created a musty smell on any thing fabric , but I will say since they do advertise climate control if any of my 1960 wood furniture warps it will be their fault , when I called and reserved my unit I knew exactly what I was getting and the east Indian representative who works there argued with me for half an hour that I had to purchase a lock that they supply , even after seeing that the cheap circular lock that can be picked with a nail file I didn't receive an apology until I asked for it. Find a different option that paying close to 400$ for a 10×20 storage that is very humid and hot with no lights or plugs to see while you are in the unit. Awful service!

I was moving one day after the charge date . They waived the charge. So appreciated it .would have been awful to pay for a full month. I also found they gave me the best price after searching other storage places . Would recommend

They are incredible. I'm 1 day past my storage date as I have movers. They waived it versus charging me for a full month. Was impressed from the beginning until the end. Highly recommend for any storage needs!

At first i saw the site online, signed up at a location where i first thought was convenient, when i headed to the office (275 gordon) awet assisted me on the phone and in person to set up my storage with them in this location, which was far more convenient! He was very detail oriented, making sure i understood how their services work and how they can provide peace of mind with my items that are being stored! im glad this is a canadian company and was Assisted by Awet! to those who’s looking into a new storage, this is the place to be, and he is the person to reach out to!

Absolute worst customer service I’ve ever had in my entire life. Attempted to call in 4 times over 20 minutes, had the manager answer me twice and tell me they were going to look into something then hang up on me. Called back again. Same thing happened.
They clearly don’t understand how to use the hold feature on any of the phones, nor do they know how to call people back apparently.
And if you’re a business owner, looking to use this as a storage site for tools, or anything of the sort, look elsewhere. Even if you’ve got 3+ years of business with them the second your corporate card expires they don’t let you know, and they lock you out of your lockers.
Calling to get a hold of any personal or staff to help sort the issue out and was probably the most difficult task I’ve ever had to do. Zero sense of customer service, and an absolute pathetic excuse for a legitimate business.

Great promotion. First locker had a lock on it and was given a more ideal locker. Move in and move out went smoothly. Had to call twice to be sure they cancelled my next month.
