Michigan Academy is really great and my kiddos love taking dance and voice lessons there. The teachers are really amazing, sweet, and supportive! Being a part of the competitive dance team for the past couple of years has been an incredible experience for my daughter and we love being a part of this dance family!

This studio is everything I could ever ask for. I have danced here for almost 10 years and there is no way I would ever go to any other studio. The teachers engage with any kid in a way you won't get anywhere else. They really take time to make sure that everyone gets what they need and want. The company team is also such a great experience for your kids. The studio is clean and safe. The music classes are also nothing short of amazing. All the staff are so nice and welcoming. Michigan Academy has been a wonderful place for my daughter to discover her love for ballet 🩰. She started at mini ballet and was able to perform at a recital at only 4 years old on a full stage setting. After reflecting on her experience, she ask to come back for Happy Feet where she is now learning more advance moves and dance structure. The teachers have been amazing at both keeping her engage without sacrificing the fun of dancing, and getting her to follow through on the routines.

We’ve been dancing at Michigan Academy of Dance and Music for 9 years now. 5 of those on the competition team. If you’re looking for a studio where teachers and friends become more like family, then this is a great place for you. They have classes for toddlers through adult with a wide range of genres. You can join classes for fun or merge into the competition side. Both are great options here. Their music program is wonderful. The teachers care for your kids as if they were their own.
