We have been working with the Elder and Disability law firm for about 2 years now, following the recommendations of friends who had also been served by them. We have been very impressed, both with the gracious personal attention we have received and the thorough, knowledgeable, professionalism of everyone there. Esther Wang and her staff have walked us through the nuances of powers of attorney, medi-Cal coverage, Assisted Living Waver programs and more, helping us to obtain the assistance we need to take care of an aging relative, and giving us the guidance and peace of mind that comes from navigating all those things successfully. We are happy to enthusiastically recommend them and the services they provide.

In early 2021, my mother began experiencing serious medical issues and ultimately needed placement in a nursing home. It was an incredibly stressful and difficult time, and it quickly became clear that she needed professional estate planning and guidance.
Esther Wang of the Elder and Disability Law Firm came highly recommended, so I made an appointment. From our very first meeting, Esther and her team were compassionate, understanding, and clearly extremely knowledgeable. Esther took the time to thoroughly explain the estate planning process and helped me navigate the complexities of Medi-Cal. Her calm and reassuring demeanor immediately put my mind at ease, and I decided to hire her. It was one of the best decisions I’ve made in years.
Over the next several years, whenever an issue arose, Esther and her team—Jordan and Lourdes—were always responsive, professional, and incredibly helpful. When my mother passed away last year, they compassionately guided me through what was an especially difficult and emotional process. I will always be grateful for the care, patience, and expertise they showed both my mother and me.
Because of Esther’s exceptional care and competent handling of my mother’s estate, I ultimately chose to retain her to handle my own estate planning as well. That decision has given me tremendous peace of mind.
I truly couldn’t be happier with Esther and the entire Elder and Disability Law Firm team. I would wholeheartedly recommend Esther, Jordan, Lourdes, and the firm to anyone who needs help planning for their own future or caring for the legal and financial needs of a loved one.
Five stars without hesitation!

I was very concerned when I received a Medi-Cal notification letter in the mail. I spent days trying to locate the information that I needed, to no avail. The Elder and Disability Law firm came highly recommended to me. They were able to give me the information that I needed to protect my son's benefits in a prompt and concise manner. I, too, would highly recommend their services.

Today I made a phone call to this place. I spoke with a paralegal who stated that the firm would be able to protect my assets. But he had a hard time deciding should I pay now should I pay later? Should I pay when I come in for the appointment? It was confusing he didn’t know. Then he transferred me to a receptionist that stated she would take my money after she took my credit card which I feel is now compromised after she took my money. I gave her all the information asked her if she needed anything else she said no then I said, please tell the paralegal that what he was doing with me was confusing. It didn’t make sense when to pay when not to pay. Is it all a surprise. I said have a nice day. Thank you for starting the process and protecting my assets. I felt comfortable enough to shop while I was shopping. I got a message that they were unable to take my case I’m elderly. I’m also 100% disabled and I have assets to protect and I was willing to pay and I thought I had I have head injury. It’s hard for me to understand things and when I’m treated this way denied services. It just doesn’t make sense. So I would suggest a different law firm should be sought and I will and maybe they won’t be wishy-washy. I was looking forward to going to Redlands to the appointment that they set and then they changed their mind. Apparently, they can’t make their mind up about taking money when and where. I’m sure since there was such a problem at the front end that the rear end is just as bad so please don’t go to this law firm. It was disgusting to have gone through this now. If I could give this firm a zero I would the paralegal was at Best wishy-washy and unsure. It’s not what I want in an attorney. When the support staff called me and told me I asked, are you going to charge me and she said no. But yet there’s bank charges from their business on my account compromised account. Please don’t use this law firm. They are hardly consistent after being told I would not be charged the $75 to set an appointment which was not done canceled. They still charged my account. They will be reported for fraud first thing in the morning, don’t use that law firm they’re underhanded, not honest and not forthcoming so you don’t wanna hire an attorney for that kind of service which it isn’t.

My consultation with Esther Wong was exceptional. Navigating elder law, dementia, Medi-Cal planning, trusts and long term care for aging parents can feel overwhelming, but Esther made a complicated process feel understandable and manageable.
She was incredibly knowledgeable, patient and compassionate. She took the time to answer every question thoroughly, never made me feel rushed and explained each option in a way that was easy to understand. I left the meeting feeling far more confident and prepared than when I arrived. And I was 4 minutes late! The traffic to Redlands can be bad so prepare for that!
What stood out most is her knowledge and heart. Her calm presence and thoughtful guidance reminded me of someone who leads with wisdom, courage, and compassion while helping others through challenging circumstances.
She is highly skilled and truly cares about her clients. She is an incredible advocate and I am so grateful we found her.
