Ok let's talk about advertising. Don't tell people renting a truck from U haul is $19.95 for 24 hours. It isn't and you know it. Gas EXTRA mileage charge EXTRA, insurance Extra . Lucky if you're done at $100 for a 3 hour time span. 5 times what you said on phone and advertised. But when you have no choice you pay it. Just be honest and tell people a UHaul costs $100 a truck. What's the problem with being honest? Just TELL me the cost so I can budget. You look like a bit of a fraud running bill up to over $100 for 35 km travelled over 3 hours. Maybe you need the money to stay in business. Fine. Just try being honest about your prices. Then you don't get 1 star reviews.

I was very pleased with the service provided in Guelph. I had never rented equipment for towing, but the guys were happy to answer all of my questions and were very patient familiarizing me with process. I also was renting close to the end of the day, but I never felt as though I was being rushed and was treated extremely professionally. I’m very grateful for the experience and I’ve already got another reservation made.

I was pleasantly surprised by how convenient, quick, and affordable it was to rent an Auto Transport trailer from this U-Haul location when I needed one for the weekend.

It's easy to make a reservation online or in-store, hook up the trailer to your vehicle with the help of a friendly staff member, and return the rental once you're done using the U-Haul mobile app.

This business is open 7 days a week and has a versatile inventory of trailers, trucks, and vans to suit your needs. I don't live in Guelph, but I choose to travel to this location specifically because of the positive experiences I've had in the past.

Additional Notes: Despite its weight of approximately 2200 pounds, the Auto Transport trailer tows exceptionally well, even behind a mid-size truck. The straps and safety chains used to secure the vehicle while in transport are user-friendly and very effective. The integrated ramps are easy to extend and retract making loading your vehicle a breeze. Instructional videos are provided for first time users and a plethora of technical specifications are available online to verify this product will suit your unique needs.

We had a very positive experience thanks to General Manager Brandon Stagg at the U-Haul location at 389 Speedvale Ave W, Guelph, ON.

According to the licence plate, our 10 foot moving van was originally from Alabama USA. The ice and snow was removed by staff, the cab and loading area were clean. The sliding door lowered and locked smoothly.

Check in was painless. Since I was not able to use the U-Haul app on my cell phone, staff recommended that I take photos of the van body for previous damage.

Upon return, a friendly staff person greeted us and completed the check in within minutes. We were able to move our gear for a very reasonable price.

Yes I recommend U-Haul location at 389 Speedvale Ave W, Guelph, ON.
