What made the experience especially disappointing was the interaction itself. When I asked whether I could purchase the items separately, the employee in a red jacket told me no and, from my perspective, smiled /smirked while I expressed my disappointment. Whether or not that was her intention, it left me concerned that I was being dismissed rather than handled with the hospitality Chick-fil-A is known for.

One of my favorite menu items is the Kale Crunch Side. At many Chick-fil-A restaurants, I have been able to purchase or receive separately the Zesty Apple Cider Vinaigrette Dressing, Roasted Almonds, and even Harvest Nut Granola to enjoy with my meal. However, at the Dawson Road restaurant in Albany, Georgia, I was told these items could not be sold or provided separately, even though I was willing to pay for them.

My question is this: Is the Chick-fil-A customer experience intended to vary based on each restaurant’s individual policy? As a customer, I choose Chick-fil-A because I expect the same quality and experience regardless of which location I visit. If one restaurant allows customers to enjoy their favorite menu items a certain way while another does not, it creates an inconsistent experience.

If it is a local decision, has Chick-fil-A considered how those differences affect customer expectations and consistency across restaurants?

I get breakfast here every morning and my food is always so hot, fresh and delicious! The morning staff are little angels that know me by name and treat me like royalty! Highly recommend by this happy customer!

Nice location with easy access in and out.
Very clean and well kept outside and inside.
Nice menu with prices.
Friendly employees with great attitude willing to assist you as requested.
Nice dining room with comfortable seating.
Food was promptly prepared and service was excellent.
Food portions were adequate but filling.
Will recommend for a quick bite.

I ordered two Market Salads, and when I got home, this is what I received. I was extremely disappointed. This does not reflect the quality or standards I’m used to from Chick-fil-A. I usually have great experiences here, which makes this one especially frustrating.

I eat here A LOT. This is like my second time getting Mac & Cheese like this. It’s so crazy that I have had several issues with my order in the past. When called, I’m told to let hold it and bring it back in the next day; I guess to “prove” the discrepancies. So crazy, I don’t need free food. I want quality food. So since I wasn’t going to hold on to this Mac & cheese until MONDAY (ordered Saturday night), I decided to bring awareness to the declining level of service here at our Albany location.
