The last few times here have not been as good as the first few. The food in general is good, sometimes great. The man that runs it is friendly. His waitstaff on the other hand, wowzer. They are often uncordinated and lacking in communication. I have seen the guy look frustrated by this on several different occasions. More than once I've ended up waiting 20/25 minutes over the time I was told. The 2nd to the last time they forget to put the pepperoni(the only topping I ordered)on the pizza and it wasn't even busy. The last time I ordered a white pizza, I asked them what was on it, and after I was told tomatos, etc came on it, I got home to see that the white pizza did not have tomatos on it. I called in and asked the guy who answered if the white pizza was supposed to have tomatos on it, to which he reponded he didn't think so and could be heard asking the other waistaff if it did but then he confirmed it did so I let him know they forget them and that my last order before this one was also messed up in a similar way. I got a sorry and a do you want to drive back in so we can remake this. I wasn't driving all the way back, I have neither the time nor the 3 million dollars in gas prices (I'm only slightly exaggerating) to want to drive back. The guy said they'd make sure to keep an eye out for this problem. Which is probably how this happened in the first place. Because he was keeping an eye out. I would give them 5 stars if they put more cheese on their pizza and hired a competent waitstaff. I highly recommend their cheese steak and pepperoni pizza, when they remember to actually put the pepperoni on it.

My husband and I heard through a few people at our place of employment that Vito's hands down is the best pizza shop from Blair to Cambria county. My husband and I haven't found a pizza place yet that we could both say the food was good (consistently) let alone phenomenal. I was taken back by the kindness we were shown. You just don't see it much anymore. Prior to trying Vito's my husband and I resorted to Dominos pizza for the simple fact we knew what we were getting every time. My biggest pet peeve is soggy, overly greasy pizza or stromboli. Everything was cooked to perfection. There is nothing like kindness, fresh ingredients and phenomenal food. Oh! Let's not forget about their secret ingredient... LOVE! Everyone should use it a little more often. 😉

Just left and walked out. Took a minute to decide what I wanted to eat , then the waitress counter offers for me and my friend to get two of the same order but larger. Sounds like you just didnt want to make a small canzone.

Vito's is amazing! Down home, Italian joint that makes the dough from scratch for bread and pizza. Loyal folks have worked there for 30yrs! The food was amazing...generous, authentic, well priced for portion size, and the service was truly outstanding! Marinara was awesome. Fantastic!
