I've used Discount Tire for the past 20 years. (Usually this location.) However, my last visit was terrible. I had an appointment for rotation and balance and still had to wait 15 minutes just to get checked in at the desk. (People behind the counter continued to take phone call after phone call and provide tire pricing while 6 people (including me) waited in line. After I got checked in and after a total of 50 minutes in the shop, my car never moved from the original spot. I left...no work done.

A very poor way to run a business.

I had an excellent experience with discount tire of Shelby Township this morning.

Over the long holiday weekend, I got a nail my tire so I filled it temporarily. Woke up the next day and it was completely flat. Thankfully, the insurance company was able to come out and put a doughnut until I was able to come to discount tire. So glad I did! I got there around 8 AM and I was out just before 9AM. Grateful for the technician who worked on my car quickly, swapped out the tires and patched what needed to be done.

Will definitely keep discount tire in mind for the future!

On 6/5 there were two guys with the letter J. For sure james helped me and I’m pretty sure it was John that got me back into my car when everything was done.

James went above and beyond with explaining and showing me exactly what the team was going to take care of today. I felt so comfortable and it was such a ease of mind to have all four of my tires taken care of with new monitors replaced and I was back on the road feeling safe and confident again james thank you so much.

First visit to this location for a tire rotation. I will return and appreciate the exceptional service my vehicle was given. I had no idea the lug nuts were deteriorated and needed replacement. Kudo's for the quick completion, timing was outstanding! In and out. Thank you so much Carter Gysel for making this happen.
