I’ve learned that not all oil change locations—even within the same franchise—deliver the same level of service or care.
Mike at the Bloomfield location is exceptional. He listens, problem-solves, explains next steps clearly, and treats you with genuine respect. That kind of service stands out.
I’ve always liked Uncle Ed’s, but my local location has been a completely different experience—constant turnover and noticeable shortcuts. I’ve dealt with things like tires not being filled, fluids not being checked (even when specifically requested), missing screws in the skid plate, a missed major radiator support issue, and even something as simple as a directional lightbulb replacement being overlooked.
When I shared my concerns, Mike didn’t dismiss them or just sympathize—he took action. He walked me through what to do next and reassured me with, “Come back anytime—we’ll take care of you.” And I believed him.

Love going to Uncle Ed’s , everyone there is so nice. They even tolerate my dog and let him hang out the window and watch them while they work! They’re very Quick and efficient, it’s like five people working on your car at one time, all in sync!
