Highly skilled in all aspects of dermatology, including medical, surgical, and cosmetic procedures, Dr. Sedrak maintains his passion and enthusiasm for state-of-the-art techniques and treatments to improve the health and wellness of all his patients. Dr. Sedrak attended medical school at the University of South Alabama College of Medicine in Mobile, where he finished at the top of his class. He earned a 4.0 GPA, and ranked #1 among the graduating physicians. He then completed his training in general surgery at the University of California, Los Angeles, followed by an intensive dermatology residency at Loma Linda University. There, he continued his impressive accomplishments, ranking in the top percent of national dermatologists. His dedication to advanced education and training led Dr. Sedrak to pursue a fellowship in Mohs surgery and procedural dermatology, where he was able to train with world-renowned Mohs surgeon, Dr. Abel Torres, past-president of the American Academy of Dermatology. He also studied with plastic surgeons so he could develop advanced skills in skin surgery, allowing him to treat complex cases. Dr. Sedrak's expertise has led him to author textbook chapters for both dermatologists and dermatology students. He has successfully treated over 10,000 skin cancers in the last 10 years, and remains a leader in the field of dermatology. Dr. Sedrak is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. Had a skin cancer tumor on my nose. They took care to get it done right; got me in quickly and made sure I was taken care of. The whole team is nice and so pleasant to deal with. Would definitely go back if I have another issue. Thanks for helping me!

I’ve had such a great experience with Texas Skin Center. Dr. Aldrete and his nurse (I feel so bad I can remember her name because she was awesome) they did such a quick and efficient procedure and kept me calm the whole time! Best experience I’ve had at a dermatologist and I work in the medical field. The only recommendation is that Brian put some small speakers in the room to play music to ease the patients nerves or headphones. I’m sure the medical staff would enjoy the music too! Go to Texas Skin, they rock! Thank you guys again!

I had my first visit here today with Dr. Aldrete and eventhough I waited a long time the office manger was very attentive and she did communicate often. I extremely advise them to change the chair that in the last exam room because I fell out of the chair, unharmed. PLS CHANGE THE CHAIR its hazardous!!! Someone else may not be so lucky.Overall, I like him and he has good bedside. I will return to see my new "MJ" dermatologist. 4 stars because of how long I had to wait today.

I was extremely nervous about why I had to visit a dermotologist. Dr Joseph Sedrak office was inviting. The staff was friendly and professional. My appointment was early in the morning. Dr Sedrak came in, he spoke to his patients in the waiting room. It was only two of us. However, Im sure he does this every morning. He greeted his staff as well. The nurse and new trainee made me feel comfortable while asking me detailed questions. Dr. Sedrak made me feel like he was generally concerned. He gave me detailed explanations and printouts about my dermatology concerns. I enjoyed my visit with his office.

Excellence in every phase. Clinic manager assiduously prepared then provided treatment notes so prescribed medicines could be used properly. Doctor was exceedingly thorough and focused, answered all questions after listening attentively.
Unequivocally a 5 star experience.
