Located within Whole Foods, PLNT Burger is a healthier option to satisfy your craving for a burger and fries, BUT, based on my first experience, I’m not sure if the healthier ingredients outweigh the cost and taste of a conventional burger combo.
On a rainy Saturday, I visited PLNT Burger. I assumed it was a standalone location, but when I approached I realized it was within a grocery store. Not a big deal. The seating area, consisting of a half dozen tables and countertop stool seating, was teeming with people who were looking to escape the crummy weather.
The employees of PLNT Burger were nice, as other reviewers have pointed out. I ordered the mushroom BBQ bacon burger with a small order of sweet potato fries and a small drink. With tax, the total was $20.21. The burger was smaller than I expected, but the order of fries was huge. For my beverage I asked for a mixture of lemonade and dragonfruit, and they obliged. I wasn’t given ice with the drink, but it didn’t need it.
The burger was just okay. The mushrooms were rubbery and slightly off-putting, and the taste of the toppings blended together with nothing really standing out. The fries and drink were great and I would recommend them, but skip the BBQ burger.
For the price I paid I probably wouldn’t return, as there are better burger options in the area for less money. Yes, this is supposedly healthier, but for a premium price I want premium taste.

These people are weird. They expect you to pay premium for fake meat. Since when do you pay more for something that isn't real? It is completely backwards. And the vegan/vegetarians that cosign this nonsense are even weirder cause if you don't like meat stop eating stuff that is supposed to taste like it. Paying premium to indulge in your guilty pleasure, half of whom use not eatting meat a morality trip in the first place. Weirdo bizzaro world.

I had such a satisfying experience at PLNT. The food is delicious. Those sweet potato fries were perfection--so fresh and crisp. The staff was so very sweet and attentive. And Whole Foods seating area is a decent place to spend time watching folks go by. I'll definitely be back...

Every time I visit town for work, I make sure to stop by this place for dinner. I’m a health-conscious and environmentally conscious person, and I appreciate that they offer fresh, organic ingredients at an affordable price. I love their sweet potato fries and potato herb fries, but the best part is the option to substitute the bun for a delicious leaf wrap. It’s sturdy and fresh, and it’s a great alternative to a traditional bun. And let’s not forget their vegan milk milkshake—it’s one of the best I’ve ever had. I even requested it without sugar, and it was still incredibly delicious.

The pattys are juicy, perfectly seared, and deliver l deeply savory flavor that truly rivals its beef counterpart. Toppings like the crunch from the lettuce and the tang from the sauce are spot on.
The sides are just as strong. The fries are crispy, well-salted, and consistently excellent. The Oat Milk Shakes are a must-try; they are thick, creamy, and satisfying without feeling heavy. It’s hard to believe they are dairy-free.
