I had battery issues. I stopped to check lee quickly told me the battery was bad. Wasn't sure about the warranty? Edgar the employee i quickly found my previous purchase and let me know it was still under warranty and replaced it within ten minutes without a dime out of pocket.

I want to give credit where itโ€™s due: Veronica Martinez, Parts/Sales Manager at AutoZone Store #6716, has always provided excellent customer service. She was professional, helpful, and immediately willing to make things right when we brought this issue to her attention. She is the only reason for any stars.

Unfortunately, the experience with Store Manager Edgar Cruz was the complete opposite.

We purchased a battery from this location 7 months ago along with anti-corrosion battery terminal rings. The original installation was already subpar because the battery wasnโ€™t even properly tightened down by the employee who installed it. Fast forward 7 months, and the negative terminal was heavily corroded.

When we returned to the store, Veronica immediately said they would take care of it and even instructed Edgar to replace the anti-corrosion rings. Instead of properly fixing the issue, Edgar simply sprayed anti-corrosion spray over the existing corrosion and old rings without cleaning the terminal or replacing anything.

That is not the proper process. Basic battery maintenance requires cleaning the corrosion thoroughly before applying protective spray. Applying spray over existing corrosion can actually trap moisture and worsen the problem over time.

Edgar also incorrectly told us that the anti-corrosion spray needs to be reapplied every 6 months. That is false. Battery anti-corrosion felt rings are specifically designed to last for the life of the battery unless they become damaged or degraded. They are intended to continuously provide corrosion protection with zero maintenance once installed correctly.

The issue here is not just poor workmanship, but also misinformation and laziness from a store manager who should know better. Extremely disappointed in the lack of effort and professionalism.

I believe the store would be better served by promoting Veronica to store manager and relocating Edgar elsewhere.

I was low on oil on my way to work so I stopped into this Autozone location. The entrance is a little tricky, I actually passed it and pulled into the church next door and had to turn back around onto the road and then try it again but from the other direction. Its a busier location, but I was also there around 3pm or 4pm. I just needed some oil. As soon as I walked into the store I was greeted and asked if I needed help. They sent me to the correct location. Found what I needed, waited in line for a few minutes, probably around 5 or 6 minutes. The guy was nice and asked if I needed help, there were other employees helping people out in the parking lot. Filled my car up with oil and I was on my way. Im glad they were there.

I had a very disappointing experience at this AutoZone location due to the conduct of the store manager, Veronica.

Upon entering the store, I was not greeted despite acknowledging that she appeared busy. When I politely said โ€œexcuse meโ€ to ask a question, she did not look up and dismissed me with a hand gesture, directing me elsewhere.

Another employee assisted me with testing my battery and clearly instructed me to call the store in about an hour for an update before returning. I followed those instructions. When I attempted to call back, the phone was repeatedly unanswered or answered and disconnected. When someone finally answered, I explained that I was calling back as instructed to check on my battery.

Veronica interrupted me, questioned who I was speaking about, and demanded the employeeโ€™s name. I explained that I was a customer following staff instructions and did not know his name. Instead of asking for my name, checking the system, placing me on hold, or asking the other employee in the store, she refused to provide any information stating there were only 2 people on staff as she had a store full of customers. She repeatedly questioned how long it had been, even though it had been well over an hour due to the phone not being answered.

When I returned to the store after less than a 5 min drive, there were no customers present. Veronica immediately became defensive. When asked for her name, she identified herself as Veronica. When asked who her manager was, she stated his name was Victor and told me to โ€œlet him know what I said,โ€ rather than attempting to resolve the issue or de-escalate.

During this interaction, she turned to another employee and referred to me using a profanity on the sales floor.

I followed staff instructions exactly and was met with dismissal, refusal to assist, and verbal disrespect. This behavior is unprofessional and unacceptable for someone in a leadership role. If this is how she treats customers I can only imagine how she treats staff.

I went in to buy some replacement windshield wiper blades. I was assisted by Yassine, who tried to persuade me into buying the Rain-X brand blades. I went with the Bosch brand, but he provided excellent customer service. ๐Ÿซก
