Went here for a friend's birthday with no reservations for a party of 3 on a Thursday. We were seated immediately and Esmond.l, was our server. When we told him why we were there to celebrate a birthday he decorated the table and gave the birthday a card from Eddie V's. We tried Happy Hour drinks and Resturant Month Menu for you food. I was unsure of the which wine I wanted and he allowed me to sample both to make a selection. He was patient, very accommodating, knowledgeable and kind. He gave us a complimentary glass of champagne for the entire party to cheers to the birthday girl. His service was like one I've never experienced before. It renewed me in a sense cause he was so personable. You should most definitely sit in his section.
Now to the food. The amuse-bouche was a fried green tomato with cuded avocado and a mayo based sauce on the bottom. It was ok but I was a huge fan. It needed salt. I order the crab fried rice and that was okay as well. Again it needed some salt and a little more garlic and maybe a spicy after note to set the dish off but it was good. For dessert I ordered the chocolate cake and it was just ok. But the banana foster cake that was given to the birthday girl. I can eat that on any day that ends in Y. It was amazing!!!!
The manager kept checking on tables but no in a overbearing way.
I pleasantly enjoy the experience.
I give it a 5 out of 10.

I visited Eddie V’s on a quiet Sunday evening and ordered the Restaurant Week menu, adding the supplement for the 22-ounce ribeye. Having enjoyed their filet on several previous visits, I arrived with fairly high expectations. For a moment, however, this dinner came surprisingly close to being my last visit—until Kaylee and manager Atul handled the situation with the kind of professionalism that ultimately defined the evening.
The ribeye arrived roughly ten minutes after my salad. My first impression was disappointing: the sear was noticeably uneven across the surface, suggesting either inconsistent contact with the grill or an irregularly cut steak that prevented uniform browning. On a ribeye of this size—and especially at a restaurant operating at this level—the exterior char matters enormously. A properly developed crust provides the concentrated, caramelized counterpoint to the richness of the beef.
Kaylee listened carefully when I raised the concern and communicated it to the management team. Atul then came to the table, heard me out without defensiveness, and arranged for a replacement. The second steak was exactly what I had hoped for from the beginning: beautifully and evenly charred across the entire surface, with the quality of the beef allowed to speak for itself. The meat was flavorful, beefy, and juicy.
Even very good kitchens can occasionally send out an imperfect plate. The more meaningful test of hospitality is what happens afterward. Kaylee and Atul transformed what could easily have become an unpleasant dinner into one of the more memorable service experiences I have had recently.
That recovery earned considerable goodwill. I left not merely satisfied, but with greater confidence in the restaurant than when I arrived. When the time comes to bring friends together—or even choose a restaurant for my birthday—I would now be inclined to choose Eddie V’s over Pappas, largely because of the attention, responsiveness, and genuine concern shown by the team that evening.

Food was amazing. Our server Carlos was beyond phenomenal. My daughter is allergic to quite a few things and they made sure she way able to enjoy her dinner with no problems. I highly recommend Eddie V’s for a family outing. Will be coming back.
