Being from Ontario, I expect small rural grocery stores to have poor selection and high prices. Marché Richelieu was not like that at all! I was so impressed with the great selection of fresh produce and meats, all reasonably priced. They also carried some local products. I was ale to get everything we needed for our stay at a local chalet (including some adult beverages!).

I stopped going to the store last summer because the employees were not wearing masks. I dropped by the other day hoping that things had improved but when I entered the first thing I saw was the cashier wearing her mask around her neck. So I turned around and left. I cannot shop at a grocery store that does not respect the public health guidelines.
