He is a board certified ophthalmologist whose special interests include pediatric vitreoretinal diseases, complicated retinal detachment, ocular oncology and macular disease. He has been actively involved in resident and fellowship education for more than 20 years, and serves as Co-Director of the Associated Retinal Consultants Vitreoretinal Fellowship Training Program.
