Since the initial consultation I had with Real Property Management Absolute, the experience has been engaging until property turnover. I had always been skeptical about property management due to past experiences. I once had a previous rental property in another state burn down while under property management. So my approach toward any property management company comes with a lot of questions and skepticism. Real Property Management Absolute put those questions and skepticism to bed. Every question I asked was answered thoroughly with emailed information to back it up. It took three months in total to turn my property over due to an overseas real estate transaction that I was conducting at the time. Real Property Management Absolute was very patient and supportive during the process. During the three months that I was away. I received weekly emails on a variety of important real estate rental topics for my awareness. These emails not only allowed me to gain more knowledge real estate management, it also showed the professionalism of Real Property Management Absolute. This is the best real estate management company hands 🙌 down.

I recently sold my property in Hillsborough, a decision driven entirely by the abysmal management services provided by Parker and Scott Law (Real Property Management). As an out-of-state investor, I hired them to be my eyes and ears. Instead, they turned a historically profitable property into a highly stressful liability.

If you are an owner considering their services, here is what you can expect:

Terrible Communication: Phone calls were never returned, and emails went ignored. Even during critical situations like a tenant eviction, getting a clear update was nearly impossible. I constantly felt helpless and entirely in the dark about my own asset.

Negligent Oversight: Vacant units were routinely left unlocked with the doors wide open because they simply never checked on the property. It wasn't until I hired a selling agent that inspections revealed a tenant had been letting their dog use the basement as a bathroom—damage that management completely missed.

Inflated Maintenance Quotes: Whenever this older building needed repairs, their quotes were exorbitantly high. I eventually brought in my own local contractors, who confirmed that Parker and Scott’s pricing was significantly inflated above market rates.

Incompetent Leasing: When a unit became vacant, it sat empty. I discovered they weren't even listing the available units, forcing me to take over the marketing myself. Simple turnovers, like rekeying a door, would take weeks to complete.

Unprofessional Retaliation: When I decided to sell, they attempted to buy the property from me. After I declined and hired an independent local agent, things turned ugly. During escrow, they became entirely unresponsive. When a tenant called them about trash piling up, Parker and Scott explicitly told them they were "done working" on the property because it was being sold.

I rarely write reviews, but I feel a strict obligation to warn other landlords. It appears their positive reviews come exclusively from tenants, not owners. If you want a competent, trustworthy team to protect your investment, look elsewhere. Parker and Scott Law give Real Property Management Absolute a bad name. Beware.

Such a great experience renting an apartment from this company! Since we were moving from another state, we couldn't view the property in person, so they offered a virtual tour over the phone, which some agencies didn't. Parker has been amazing at maintaining daily communication and providing all the relevant information we need. Signing the contract has been very convenient. They have a very convenient portal for viewing the lease agreement and keeping up to date with all necessary changes and updates. At the move-in date, Parker met me at the property and showed me everything I had to know. The apartment was exactly as advertised.

Renting through RPMA was a great experience. I did not experience any negatives, requesting repairs was easy and so was paying rent. Move out was smooth and timely.

Real property management exceeded my expectations. They very quickly found someone to rent my property. I had a great experience working with Parker. He was diligent, hard-working, and very responsive. I would highly recommend this company if you’re in the market for a property manager.
