I have had aaa for almost a year now, I like it, I have the premium membership, but it still doesn’t seem worth it. I know tow truck companies that will tow for cheaper once you use your 4 yes, only 4 service calls per year. Not one per month, not even one every other month but only 4 per year of membership. It doesn’t matter if you didn’t use 100 miles of your tow allowance, once you’ve made 4 service calls and you need a tow, you’re paying for the hookup, the tow, the passengers and $7 per mile over 7 miles. The dealerships I bought the vehicles from would charge me less for a tow just to help me out then what aaa charges, and the vehicles are paid for! I can call another company and get a tow for 50-60 and that’s everything included (I may need to call an Uber depending upon passengers but it would be less than calling aaa when I paid for 2 years of a membership in advance. I could have put that second years membership in a savings account and used the savings and interest for cheaper tows.

8/21/23 just changed my rating and I'm changing my review. I just called about my bill going up $428.46 every 6 months wow! When talking to a person, she said I had 3 vehicles on policy. Told her we only have 2 (we did have 3, one was in storage) when we decided to junk out the one in storage I called to cancel that one. Because we never received insurance card on that vehicle I assume they did my wishes. So today I found out I've been paying for the last 2 years. They more or less called me a liar ( my words not theirs) Needless to say looking for different company.
