I always have a great experience at Grease Monkey the District location, and yesterday was no exception. The team was incredibly accommodating and had my order (oil change) ready in my car in less than 20 minutes. I’m so grateful and really appreciate all your hard work. Thank you,

Moved into town recently and did not expect to have such an easy experience with getting my registration renewed. Kaleb was a champ and let me know how long it would take beforehand for my emissions testing and also let me know all of the inspections they do for vehicles for free during servicing to ensure that everything is in working order. Definitely coming back here next time one of my vehicle's is due for an oil change or new registration.

I was a bit surprised at the final cost for a simple oil change. Maybe I should have read it somewhere, but it would have been nice to have the tech explain that because I had a VW that required different oil it was a lot more ($149.99). It took two techs to talk to me. The store was busy and they seemed overwhelmed which lead me to feel they lacked leadership. I had to ask for an explanation and it took two techs to discuss with me. This was the South Jordan store.

Good morning, I just had an issue at store #987. The address is: 3668 W 11400 S, South Jordan, UT 84095

Date: 07/20/2026 9:00 a.m.
Transaction Number: 26072000025849
Invoice No.: 00987-25849
Vehicle ID: UT-7AG125

When I arrived at the location, I asked if they had Mobil ESPx2 0W-20. I had the bottle from my last oil change with me and showed it to the person who helped me. I told them very clearly that I wanted that one because it’s the one I like and it’s listed in my vehicle’s manual. The person told me yes.

When the job was finished and after I made the payment, I realized that 1. They put in the wrong oil it was 0W-20, but from a different brand that I hadn’t requested, and they didn’t ask me if that oil was okay with me. After telling them that wasn’t what I asked for, the manager replied, “If you want me to redo it, there’s a $60 charge.” I told him I shouldn’t have to pay because that wasn’t what I asked for. He said, “I’m sorry, that’s just how it works.” Two minutes later, one of their technicians came back and said, “We couldn’t put the cover under your car the company that did the previous oil change damaged it.” I told him the cover was fine before the change; at no point did they tell me it was damaged before starting the job. He said, “I’m sorry, we put the cover in your trunk.”

I don’t think this is the right way to treat a customer, especially a new one. I feel very sad and offended this is my first time with Grease Monkey, and it’s been a horrible experience.

I paid $225 for a poor and incomplete service. I would like someone from the company to contact me.

This was my first visit to the grease monkey on 114th, South and South Jordan. The two staff members that were working Zach and Dalton were so kind and efficient . They explained what services I might want to use for my car. I didn’t feel pressured to buy extra services. They also. took time to me find a coupon code. They were very honest and didn’t try to sell me things that I didn’t need. I appreciate it very much and will definitely return. Highly recommend using this Grease monkey. Thank you
