I had a great experience shopping at Publix at Lee Branch in Birmingham. The store is conveniently located and offers a clean, organized, and welcoming shopping environment. It has a great selection of groceries, fresh produce, bakery items, deli options, meat, seafood, and everyday household essentials, making it easy to find everything needed for a shopping trip.

One of the things I appreciate most about this Publix is how clean and well-maintained the store is. The aisles are easy to navigate, and products are generally well stocked and neatly organized. The produce section has a good variety of fresh fruits and vegetables, while the bakery and deli provide plenty of convenient options for meals or quick lunches.

horrible deli visit yesterday. people are extremely insulting, avoidant, and rude. my order was completely wrong, and the slicers were absolutely diabolical with what i can only imagine to be a thousand different meat products concocted into a disgusting sludge. this place is a biohazard where theyll treat you like a dog. avoid it like the plague.

Had to leave a review and praise an employee that made our whole day. We were needing a very last minute corsage for my son’s homecoming dance. After not being able to find any florists that had small flowers or the time to make one so last minute… we stopped by Publix at Lee Branch. We didn’t find anything already made with live flowers. I spoke with Rita in the floral department and she said she could make us one! She was so sweet and so helpful. Very thankful for people like her in customer service.

Walking into this Alabama Publix was like walking into a memory. I came in looking for ice—but left with a trunk full of Grapico and a heart full of gratitude.

From the moment I stepped through the doors, I was impressed. The manager was right there and kindly let me know that while my service dog Izzy was absolutely welcome, she couldn’t ride in the cart. I respected that completely—it just reinforced how clean and well-run this store is.

Every single employee spoke to me. Not in that “corporate script” kind of way, but with real Southern warmth. Multiple associates offered help, and just when I thought it couldn’t get better, the cashier walked me all the way back to get a second 12-pack of Grapico I didn’t even know was part of a BOGO deal. Thanks to her, I left with two 12-packs, a 1 - 2 liter, and 2 full 8-pack of bottles. It felt like Christmas in July.

The store was spotless, the team was thoughtful, and the experience reminded me why Publix isn’t just a grocery store—it’s a Southern institution. Huge shoutout to the manager and his exceptional staff. Y’all made my day in ways you’ll never know.

Publix didn’t just stock my fridge. It stocked my spirit.
