This has been the worst experience ever.
We moved here from Texas, paid rent and deposit before moving here. Had a whole month in advance while knowing we were coming to have this house ready to go. Instead we moved in day one and it smelled so bad, musty, moldy, and like animal pee! We shouldn’t have move in THAT DAY! But we were tired been on the road 20 hours + we know no one here so it’s not like we had anywhere to go! 1 week in, we’re at a hotel. Water pipe bust, they give us the run around. First week we notice we can’t even use the master bath room, the whole thing smells like a swimming pool locke room, shower floor is so soft you’ll fall right through. Half the floor in the whole house is the same way. There so much moisture throughout the floor and walls. Floors are soft and walls are puffed out because of it! We found water kept getting in our small appliances in one of the kitchen cabinets finally pulled my stuff out (wasn’t like this when I put them in) full of water damage and BLACK MOLD. My daughter has a mold allergy and has been FLARED since moving here I thought maybe because of the trees, plants etc it’s different here than Texas but no. Her asthma has been bad taking breathing treatments every night. Been to the doctor 2! Her and my wife are breaking out with BAD skin rashes! The air does not flow or circulate to the master bedroom day time is 80+ degrees inside, through the night it doesn’t go past 70!
There’s been abundant of centipedes which is fine but they are attracted to the moisture inside this home. I have 2 little kids here. We have called, email, texted, no one seems to care or wants to help us! They want to fix the shower and fans which is GREAT plz do! But that is no going to fix any underlying mold issues! This is a serious thing not something small to brush under. We’ve been here a month and 1 week and have thrown away $3850 on this home. With no where to go. No support. And now a home that’s making my family sick. I don’t even care about the money, but I want out of this lease legally. I want to pack up and move home the fact that people can take advantage of 2 moms just start over and show their kids a new part of the world and we just thrown to the wolves. It’s been so sad and depressing. I feel defeated as hell. I hardly sleep because it’s so hot. We can’t even hang out at home because it smells and is gross we aren’t comfortable at all. We spend more time outside of the house than inside and that’s so discouraging…. I DONT NOT RECOMMEND EVER RENTING FROM HERE! The whole office does NOT communicate with each other so no one knows shit about what’s going on. Just one issue. But there’s a million more & they do not CARE AT ALL.

Maintenance people love to just walk into your place, have to call the property and complain just to get the apartment grass cut!! Mind you there are kids that stay here!! Just wish they were more mindful of the people that maintain this properties!!
