Ideal insulation was nothing short of excellent. We live in a 1956 bungalow and after over a decade of significant renovations our attic was a mess. There were voids, airleaks, crushed insulation, batting was everywhere and so on. We contacted a number of companies w/ regards to our job and a number of them came back indicating that due to the pitch of our roof we'd either have to remove our roof or drop our ceilings out. Removing our roof was beyond cost prohibitive as we have PV panels and dropping our ceiling would have also significantly added to our cost and we would have had to vacate the premises during the work. Ideal was the only company which would actually accept the job. Mike was amazingly responsive throughout our experience, and when his crew found vermiculite in some of the corners he even offered to come back to get a better sized sample so we could have it tested. Overall we had abatement done through Wise Abatement (suggested by Mike) and they were excellent as well. Ultimately our job got done as quickly as was feasible and to the level of quality we'd hoped. Thank you so much Mike and the entire Ideal team! Our home already feels markedly different!

Professional! Stand behind there work! Excellent Communication. Fast Response! I had roof shingles let go under the warranty period fixed fast and done right. Tech was outstanding and assured me if there any further issues they would handle it. 10 year warranty is a game changer.

We hired Ideal Insulation to upgrade the attic insulation in our 10-year-old renovated home, and were very pleased. Everyone we dealt with - from the estimators to the installers and office staff were prompt, friendly, and professional.

The installation team went above and beyond to protect our home. They laid down plastic throughout the finished areas before starting, covered window openings with blankets to prevent scuff marks, and thoroughly cleaned up afterward. They even installed depth gauges and shared photos of their work to confirm it was done correctly.

Before choosing Ideal Insulation, we interviewed five different companies in Calgary. Their pricing was right in the middle of the road, which we felt was fair given the quality of service and attention to detail. We would recommend Ideal Insulation without hesitation.

Jamie Lee was incredible. Our flipped home has a number of oddities and issues. Jamie took the time to show me pictures, thermal images, and walk me through a number of projects I could do before having to do a full scale vacuum and replace. That is: Ideal is honest enough to tell me what I could do first (e.g. save money) before calling in the big guns. Amazing to see a business with this level of integrity and care for the customer (even when I'm not technically a customer yet).
