This is the place to get sushi in Amador county, Dot is such an amazing waitress , you can tell that she is experienced, professional, polite, top tier communication, she really loves to serve the people. She deserves to run that whole place , she is really such an amazing server, if you go their ask for her to serve you, her smile lights up the room! She deserves a raise!!!

I personally didnt like the sushi but my brother did and he says it was awsome and he wanted more. I only waited 15 minutes after making the order witch I felt was reasonable for how many people were there, also the waiter who was there when I was waiting for my order was super nice and asked if I needed anything even though I was only there for 5 minutes or so. So overall I'd say this is a must go if you like sushi 🍣. The sushi price isnt to bad $7.95 for 2 prices of albanori.

My husband picked up dinner on Mother's day evening around 8pm, it was fantastic! It is a bummer that we live quite a drive away from the restaurant (so the food inevitably sits for a while before we were able to enjoy it). However, nonetheless, it was delicious! In the past, we have done dinner boxes but this time decided to get 2 of the dinner a la carte then also try a non-raw sushi roll to share as well. We were not disappointed! All of it was so good! We do wish they had mentioned that the sushi roll comes with wasabi on the side (which I know is probably standard, but we are new to ordering rolls haha) because our roll had avocado on top of it & there was a couple bites of the pieces closest to the wasabi that we mistakenly thought had avocado. It was an unpleasant surprise & caused us both to spit out those 2 bites (we were sad to waste the delicious pieces haha). When we had ordered over the phone, we could have asked if it came with anything so we are not upset by it but just to let others know (ask for no wasabi, if you do not want it, plus it saves on the restaurant wasting it for a customer who just tosses it away).
Our takeout bill for the 2 dinner plates with 1 sushi roll was around $65 with a tip (I had some leftovers, so it fed us for dinner plus 1 lunch the next day) it was definitely reasonable for us & we recommend coming here for dinner!

This place was good for a while but has gone way down hill. Last night I started trying to place a carry out order at 7:45 got nothing but busy signals so I figured I'd just go order in person. Got there at 8:00 to find that it was not overly busy and they just left the phone of the hook. Bizarre. Anyway, placed my order and sat down to wait. At this point there are only 3 tables , all of witch are finishing up. 2 other patrons walk in after me and place carryout orders. At 8:50 everyone else in the restaurant including the 2 who came in after have been taken care of and left.the waitress tells me she's going to check on my order. At 9:07pm I was handed my carryout order. Unfortunately I had already paid and tipped generously as I always do even on carry-out . I should have just got my money back and left because when I got home and opened it , it looked terrible. Worst I've had. We were regulars here for years. Won't be back.

The food is super good love the rolls and the sushi. My fiancé loved the combination box but the prices have raised… don’t go by the ones you see on google or yelp because a roll is 20 each. I like to plan before I go and my whole mind changed at the restaurant but I still went for it because I hadn’t had sushi in a while. It’s was 75 for everything way over what I guessed my fault for guessing lol. The place is super super cute I love it. The vibe is quiet and the aquarium is cute. The service I hated it… the main waitress attitude towards us was way off- took smiling orders with everyone but us so it wasn’t cause she was tired but something else… she didn’t check on us the other girl did she was wonderful… don’t think I’d go back…. YOU NEED TO TREAT ALL CUSTOMERS SAME NO MATTER RACE,RELIGION, GENDER FYI.
