I was passing through town and decided to stop into the mall here in Belleville. Checked out EB and found a couple of things. Robert was at the cash and was very helpful.

I had bought most of my clothes at Eddie Bauer since I was about 16, which was in the 90s. I was a medium tall size and they were one of the few stores that sold it. Reflecting back, I don't know that I owned anything other than Eddie Bauer tops for over 25 years.

I came here with an issue with my winter jacket about 3 years ago. The pocket seal/tape had come loose on a new style. The younger sales rep refused to exchange it, over, even his older female manager, who did not step in despite suggesting otherwise -- "do it straight" -- when she was speaking with a friend. I was shocked and didn't understand.

I have not bought Eddie Bauer since.

Jakob helped us out at the Belleville location today- he was attentive & friendly & was there to help us with all our questions. Normally I don’t write reviews but his customer service was just so amazing I felt he deserved a shout out!

Dropped in to the Belleville store and was immediately greeted by an attentive employee named Megan. She assisted me in looking through a few items but unfortunately, my timing seemed a little early and she said my best bet was to keep my eye on their website.

When I mentioned that I disliked blind internet orders on clothing sizes, she suggested that I try on some garments since I was there. I found the size I require and will now be able to order from Eddie Bauer's website with confidence when my product becomes available.

Megan is a very good salesperson who was willing to do that 'little extra'. Excellent customer experience.

I really like this store. The quality is outstanding and very durable. Prices reflect the quality but their sales are incredible so shop the sales!
The store lacks the friendly personal niceties like greeting people at cash after standing in line. Or saying hello in store.
