I have lived in this area since 2018 and have been shopping at HT since the beginning. Initially, I was impressed by the store's quality—produce was consistently clean, neat, and fresh, and the customer service was excellent. Shopping at HT always felt like a reliable, positive experience. However, over the past one to two years, that experience has noticeably declined. Service quality worsened due to staff shortages, uncleanliness, and even the disturbing sight of rodents at the store entrance—all of which seriously affected my willingness to shop there. Now, I only go to HT when necessary.

Just last month, June 2026, I visited the store again and was alarmed to find a dead mouse at the entrance. This highlights a serious pest control issue that needs urgent attention. I urge HT to implement effective preventative measures to keep rodents and other pests out of the store. While I appreciate their efforts to keep the store and aisles orderly, addressing this pest problem is essential to restoring customer confidence and ensuring a safe shopping environment.

I actually enjoyed shopping here today. I had multiple check in and make sure I was finding everything okay. I believe I even saw the floor leads/managers interacting as well. my main impact was Victor around the checkout counters, he was checking and making sure all was well and even asked if I needed assistance carting my groceries outside, I have never been asked that and I didn’t even know it was an option how cool, thanks again Harris Teeter employees!

I actually really like this Harris Teeter I'm kind of surprised at the negative reviews.

This place is always clean,
the salad bar is always pretty stocked up and clean,
fresh vegetables,
The sushi bar is always neat and pretty stocked up, and for those of you who have an allergy or want to add something you can request a custom roll when the sushi chefs are there.
In which the chefs are pretty accommodating & the sushi is good.

Pretty decent priced salads with fresh ingredients, i don't like the boiled eggs too much though. But I'm pretty picky with eggs.

The guys at the meat station are always pumped and pretty helpful, I'm always asked if I need help within seconds of walking up to this counter.

I love how you can get a discount on certain things at certain times if you have a VIC card. Even meats/steaks.

The in-store cooked Asian food is pretty good too, so are their sandwiches. And the sandwich station has always been friendly to me.

I've always gotten pretty helpful employees, one time a lady even took a few minutes to explain cheese to me and the differences in what they had.

Pretty decent priced flowers too.
Self checkout is pretty easy and if you need help there's always a employee right there to help you with it.

The lines can be a bit confusing as to where to put your stuff especially if you don't have a cart but you'll figure it out.

They do a great job at staying pretty stocked up too.
