The food is nothing short of exceptional, everything was cooked to perfection! I rarely had duck this soft before, and the steak was slightly smoky and extremely savory with the sauce!

The Maple BBQ trout was DELICIOUS with crunch on top of mashed potatoes and vegetables. The textures and flavors just complement and contrasts each other so well.

The minor flaw was they ran out of black truffle that could've been shaved over the Rigatoni, but the dish was so savory and the rigatoni was cooked to absolute perfection when it comes to doneness that we had no complains!

I wish I could give more than 5 stars for this restaurant because I think this meal beats many Michelin starred restaurants for a fraction of the cost!

We came to Bridgette Bar to celebrate my boyfriend’s birthday, and everything was fantastic! The atmosphere is gorgeous, the food is delicious, and the service was warm and attentive. We were really impressed by the generous portions and affordable prices for such high quality. Highly recommended for any occasion!

Table for 1 per my usual: Absolutely love the items I ordered! Amaris, my server, was incredibly kind and sweet. She gave me great food recommendations and was simply lovely. I ordered the 1/2 oysters as a dessert, which were so good. For starters, I ordered the crab toast, super yummy and tasty. For my main, I ordered black truffle mushroom rigatoni, which was also just scrumptious. I had two cosmopolitans, my favorite drink 🍸. It was made to perfection. The service was great. The atmosphere and ambiance was amazing. I'd never been to this restaurant bar before. 1st timer. I stopped by to order dinner to go and was convinced by the restaurant staff to dine-in, and I'm so glad I did. The restaurant staff kept me company, and I enjoyed every bit of my dinner this evening. Yes, I spent $100 cad on myself, but who better to spend money on, and I love spoiling myself to an exceptionally prepared meal while enjoying the company of the servers and staff. Thank you so much for a great time, a delicious emotional support meal, and being so kind 🙏

Bridgette Bar is one of those Calgary spots that gets the details right.

We arrived around 5pm on a Saturday and the place was already buzzing, which tells you plenty. We found a spot at the bar, settled in with the monthly cocktail, and it was excellent. Balanced, interesting, and very easy to enjoy 🍹

The service was warm and sharp, the oysters were fresh, and the bar snacks hit exactly how they should. Add in the atmosphere, which feels lively without being overdone, and it is easy to see why this place has such a strong reputation 👌🏻

A proper Calgary standout.

This was my first time visiting Bridgette Bar and my experience was absolutely fabulous! Every dish we had was so flavourful. From small plates we had the Tuna Crudo, Wagyu Beef Carpaccio, and Octopus salad. Vegetables were spectacular, Spiced Beet Salad, Crispy Smashed Potatoes, and Wood Grilled Carrots. We got Grilled Farm Chicken and Maple BBQ Rainbow Trout as our large plates, and Ricotta Dumplings from pasta. Our server Kate was very friendly and helpful! She refilled our cups of water and checked on us constantly. I didn’t get a drink to start but eventually had a tea. She changed our silverware after we finished our first set of dishes. It was also mentioned to us at the beginning that they serve their dishes family style so it helped us decide what each of us preferred and wanted to try. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for variety and quality food.
