i really enjoyed coming here! the restaurant itself is beautiful and there’s a lot of seating inside, plus a really pretty outdoor patio. i loved all the pink details and the different areas throughout the restaurant. we came during happy hour, which is monday to friday from 2–7pm, and i definitely recommend going during this time! we got the pasta al forno and the parmigiana di melanzane, which is their eggplant lasagna. both were really tasty and filling, and i was actually really happy with both dishes. we wanted to get the tiramisu for dessert, but found out it contains alcohol. instead, they brought us some pineapple on the house, which was so sweet of them! the service was really good and everyone was nice throughout our visit. i would definitely recommend making a reservation, especially since it can get busy and they may not always be able to accommodate walk-ins. overall, i really enjoyed it here and would definitely come back!

Had the best service I’ve ever had in the city thanks to Jonathan. I moved here in January after a long time working in the service industry. Jonathan had the knowledge of the menus, the approachability, the kindness and the fun that I was looking for. He made our experience. On top of the amazing food and delicious wine, we had the best interactions and experience with our server. I will come back over and over for the taste, but primarily for Jonathan. 10/10

Oretta on King West was a good spot for casual Italian food. We came during the World Cup final and the ambiance of the restaurant was great. Our server Robin, was attentive to our table and friendly despite the business.

🍹: We were recommended to try the signature Mimosas to start off and they were good. I do wish they were a bit colder because it tasted lukewarm like the pitcher was left sitting out for a while.

🍴: The Cavatelli Alla Vodka was good it came out hot and the sauce was the perfect creaminess for a rosé pasta.

I recommend the Piemonte mushroom pizza - it was delicious!

The Carbonara was as basic as it gets. The serving size was smaller than we expected for the price. My table personally didn’t love the Napoletena pizza. The anchovies left a very salty and fishy taste with the tomato sauce. It didn’t hit the mark with us.

🍰: I tried the Limoncello gelato and as someone who doesn’t like lemon flavoured desserts, this was great! It sour but not too overpowering. The tiramisu was also tasty and you’re given a generous slice.

As mentioned above, the prices were a bit steeper for the quality of food. But I’d love to come back to Oretta to try out their happy hour.

Came here for a friend's engagement dinner — fun occasion! For food, we started with the zucchini, which was good, and the calamari, which was just okay for me. We also got a pasta dish (rose pasta), but the portion was really small, only a few bites, and the flavor was just average. For the main, the steak was a bit chewy but I still preferred it over the pasta. For dessert, the tiramisu was good, though that's a dessert that's hard to mess up. Overall a nice night out for the occasion, though the food didn't fully wow me.

We went to Oretta today, my friend Carol and I, and she was the one who introduced me to the place — and honestly, it was incredible. From the beautiful atmosphere to the amazing food and outstanding service, everything was perfect.

We chose the pizza and it was such a wonderful experience. We were served by Emre, and I have to say he made the whole experience even better — truly 100/100 service. Also, thank you to Isabel for taking such great care of us throughout our visit.

My friend Carol and I would really like to thank the whole team for such an amazing experience. We’ll definitely be back!
