NO AFTER-SALES SERVICE. My roof was redone in 2020 by Jules Therrien et fils with a 10-year warranty. Now I have a leak and it's impossible to get any service. When I call the company's number, I'm redirected to Toitures Alain Therrien, who refuse to come out, claiming they aren't responsible, even though they're a sister company and their website clearly states their expertise passed down by Jules Therrien.

I understand that it's not the same legal entity, but leaving customers in this predicament, without any solution, is UNACCEPTABLE. They tell me the warranty no longer applies because the company is "closed," but they can still bill me for the repairs in the name of Alain Therrien. Too easy. We called them twice about this to give them a chance, and I find it regrettable that there's been no cooperation or help.

No sense of customer service, no professionalism. A good professional is someone who will fix their mistakes. It's not the customer's responsibility to pay for that.

I STRONGLY advise against this company. RUN AWAY.

I contacted more than five roofing contractors, and this was one of the two who responded. He provided an immediate quote for my two balcony roofs. I appreciated that he also inspected the main roof without me even having to ask. The reason for the four-star rating is that the work took two to three weeks because some parts were missing. However, the quality, service (he came on a Saturday to get the work done quickly), and communication were all good. Very satisfied.

If you have a roof leak and aren't in a hurry for service, call Alain Therrien Roofing. They'll be happy to help you after a few weeks' wait. And above all, don't forget to call them often to remind them of the work that needs to be done.
