This was my first and unfortunately my last experience doing business at this location, and I am absolutely livid about how I was treated.

Yesterday around 4:15 p.m., I came into the bank to make a very large deposit. There was one customer ahead of me, and I intentionally stood a respectful distance away because I believe in giving people their personal space, especially when handling private banking transactions.

The teller then said to me, in a very dismissive and sassy tone, “Ummm, ma’am, can you scoot back more?” I politely moved back. She then motioned with her hand for me to move even farther away, so I complied again without any attitude or hesitation. I walked out and left immediately.

What bothered me was not being asked to give additional space. It was the way I was spoken to and motioned toward as though I was doing something wrong. I was not crowding the customer, looking at their transaction, or interfering in any way. I was simply waiting my turn.

I have banked at other locations since moving to Nashville and have never experienced customer service like this. There is a professional and respectful way to communicate with customers, and this was not it.

Customer service matters, especially when someone is coming into your establishment to conduct a significant financial transaction. Unfortunately, this experience left a very negative impression.

I will never do business at this location again, and I sincerely hope management addresses how customers are spoken to and treated. Respect and professionalism should be the bare minimum.

Racist. Me and my boyfriend wanted to open a joint account and we haven’t even started yet but they already assumed that we are illegal immigrants. As soon as we sat down, they told us that it would be harder to open an account without PAPERS.
