Our son attended The Goddard School South Broadway for two years, and we truly could not have asked for a better experience.

The facility was always clean and welcoming, the curriculum and extracurricular activities were engaging and age-appropriate, and the staff was absolutely second to none. His teachers, administrators, and directors cared so deeply for him not only as a student, but as a person. They consistently met him where he was while also encouraging him to grow, try new things, and step outside of his comfort zone. They gave him such a strong foundation and set him up for a successful, confident transition into kindergarten.

We will miss all of the smiling, friendly faces that made Goddard feel like home, but we feel incredibly lucky that our family got to spend these years there. We would wholeheartedly recommend The Goddard School - South Broadway to any family looking for an exceptional preschool experience!

I’m the hardest parent to impress by far and this is 100% the best daycare in the area and possibly the state! The owners are incredible, understanding, and top notch communication. The teachers are trust worthy, educated, and caring. If I would’ve known this existed, I would’ve reverted to the school much earlier rather than doing a private Nanny. They’ve exceeded all expectations! Highly recommend.

My daughter started at Goddard South Broadway at age 4, with very little writing skills and no sight words. She’s leaving for kindergarten reading full age-appropriate books and writing notes & birthday cards. What a find for us as a family. They’ve been a boon to our girl’s development.

I ultimately withdrew my 3-year-old son from this school after multiple concerning experiences and a pattern of dismissive responses from administration.

Within the first two weeks, my son was left alone on the playground. When I brought this to the owner’s attention, the response felt defensive rather than solution-oriented, which immediately raised concerns for me about accountability and communication.

Later, my son told me that a teacher (Ms. Brooke in the Rovers class) hit him for not listening. While I did not personally witness this, I took it seriously and reported it right away. The response I received focused on defending staff, with statements like “we’ve never seen this happen” and “no one has reported concerns before,” rather than addressing the situation in a way that built trust. Based on this, I chose to move him to another class.

Unfortunately, the environment in the next classroom was also concerning. I noticed a clear shift in my son’s behavior—he became more withdrawn and struggled more with emotional regulation. During this time, I personally witnessed a teacher (Vicki in Meteors) raising her voice at children, and I heard a child being called “a big bully.” The overall tone of the classroom did not feel supportive or developmentally appropriate.

At that point, I no longer felt confident that my child was in a safe, respectful, or emotionally supportive environment, and I made the decision to remove him.

I would encourage other parents to ask detailed questions about supervision, communication, and classroom management practices to ensure the environment aligns with their expectations.

We have had such a positive experience with this school over the last year and a half. The owners, Erin & Andrew, have been so supportive and wonderful and are clearly invested in the program and adoring of children. At her prior school, our daughter dreaded going every day and now she actually looks forward to school and tells us that her teacher might miss her too much if she goes on vacation. Ms. Vickie and Ms. Maura have been wonderful, and we are so appreciative of their role in preparing my daughter for kindergarten next year.
