Brad did an amazing job of repairing our engineered wood flooring, saving us mega bucks. He didn't cut corners and did the job right the first time around. I wish I could always find workmen like Brad when I need something repaired.

Aaron’s team helped us convert a tiny bedroom space into a second floor laundry. They handled every aspect of the renovation in a timely fashion and we are thrilled with the results.

I don't normally leave negative reviews. If I could leave a negative 11stars I would.

This has been an absolute disaster from the beginning. On the first scheduled date the rep was supposed to arrive around the 1-3 block, but did not arrive until 530. On the positive they did call multiple times to extend an hour... upon arrival he didn't even have the proper equipment to do the job he was scheduled to do, drill a hole for range hood ventilation in the kitchen wall. He had to leave and go buy a drill piece within 10 minutes of arriving. When he started, he failed to check for studs resulting in the side by side beauty pictured with this review. They didnt even seal the exterior hole, I had to do that on my own after he left. He didn't complete any other parts of the job. We took leave to be here on time and that's just annoying. Fast forward to day 2 when we were promised a visit between 5-7. Nothing. No show, no call from the company, more wasted leave and family time. They called this morning 8/12 as second rep was coming to do different quotes so they could try to have the first guy also come out and finish what I'd initially asked to have done. Fist rep finally arrives to change out a kitchen light and replace a bathroom ventilation fan. Once again...sub par. Initially the light wasn't even level and I had to loan him MY OWN level to get that fixed. I didn't realize until later the light box wasn't even straight on compared to te walls around it. Its got a 10 to 15 degree offset...and the icing on the cake...when removing the old vent motor and mounting, he damaged the duct box and bent it out of shape. He did not replace anything. I had to go to 2 hardware stores to find the proper replacement MYSELF and put a fan back in. On the plus side they only charged for labor, but I am deeply concerned when the kitchen range hood is installed in a week that I will be told the hole is not to code or just wrong. I also strongly doubt I'll get any follow up quote from the second rep. Everyone was polite though, so I do give credit for that. Do not waste your time or money.

8/18/25.
Update- so the ventilation hole was incorrectly installed. Its too low as the rep failed to even look at the directions that came with the vent hood for the kitchen. In addition the hole is too far to the left. I have heard nothing from the second rep with regards to any other estimate, but it is a fair assumption I will not give these guys any more business. In addition I have seen numerous other reviews post, but it seems the company is hiding negative reviews. All those are 3 years old. I will be filing a formal complaint with BBB as well.

I hired Capital City Handyman Services to do some repairs at my home and install a tiled, walk in shower in my bathroom. The guys who did my repairs didn’t earn a 5-star review, but Brad Barr, who put in my shower, did! His craftsmanship was only exceeded by his work ethic. He spent many hours working to meet and exceed my expectations. He kept me apprised of the plan, any changes or challenges, and checked in with me regularly. He worked several nights for hours after “closing” time to get the job done on time. He cleaned up the work area so it was spotless after he left. The results? I couldn’t be happier! My small, unimpressive bathroom is beautiful and classy. Thank you, Brad!

Contracted Cap City for some pre-purchase repairs to a home, and could not be happier!

Our inspection revealed some rotting wood trim that our lender required fixed. Diagnosis to documented repair took *less than 8 hours;* on a compressed closing timeline, that kind of urgency is invaluable. The work looks fabulous.

Enormously satisfied with the quality of work; will be working with these gentlemen in the future as well.
