this older shorter woman at 6:20-6:30 told my friend they could not wear their swimsuit bottoms in the store. Other people in the store were wearing swimsuit bottoms. *i* was wearing swimsuit bottoms. She didn't tell us the same. I get there is a certain standard, but her attitude was disgusting. I've never felt so disrespected at a kwik star before. She had the nastiest tone of voice. She could have been 100x nicer about it. I've never met such an atrocious woman before. I will not be coming back to ANY Kwik stars. Shame on you for hiring someone capable of such an abhorrent attitude.

This place is horrible I saw an employee vaping in the freezer while the door was open. They treat there employees terrible. I over heard a conversation asking an employee to come into work even though they where sick.
I sure want a sick person around my food. Oh well. This store doesn't care at all and it shows.

What's not to love about Kwik Star??? I am addicted to their coffee. Love the Concordia coffee machines and hope they figure out a way to keep those beverages or something similar for the fans :)

Stacy has a bad attitude problem. She needs to learn to deal with all types of people. Black people included. She shouldnt be yelling at a customer for asking a simple question. Walked in and asked if they accept refills called her maam and everything to show respect and acknowledgement of the other customer who was swiping their card as I asked the question. They weren’t talking none of that, so I did not interrupt anything. She answered angrily and loudly that she was with a customer and immediately apologized to th customer. It was very excessive even the customer had jumped because her voice was so raised. Find you a new job Stacy bc every time I come into this store I will never go to you again. Everyone else was friendly. Never had a problem at this location till 03/04/26 at 5:30 pm. I’m surprised the other employees didn’t hear her raise her voice like that.

I decided to stop by this Kwik Star location after doing some work at a nearby cafe prior to returning home. This Kwik Star is not the closest one to my home, but it was nearby at the time. I can confidently say that, after this visit, this Kwik Star is very much of the same quality as the others I've visited in the Quad Cities.

This particular location is also nearly identical to the one on Devils Glen Road in its overall layout. The hot case, beer cave, coffee, baked goods, and nearly everything else are in the exact same locations. It certainly made things easier for me, as I was able to easily find the Chex mix and diet Mountain Dew I wanted to get on this visit.

Checkout was also painless. After asking if I had rewards or wanted to get them and my declining both, the cashier checked me out and I was on my way. The process was quick and on par with similar experiences at other Kwik Star locations.

I'd definitely come back here again if in the area. Thanks for being a great convenience store and gas station in Bettendorf!
