The British swim school is a wonderful program filled with experience, kind, and supportive staff like Duly and Kiana. Our child looks forward to their class every week. It’s wonderful to see them come out of their shell and love being in the water.

We love the British Swim School. Our son started the program when he was 7 months old and the school does a great job helping kids acclimate with the water and learn survival skills in a fun way. There are several locations in Manhattan and it is easy to mark an absence and schedule a make up class. The instructors are helpful and kind (thanks Mr. J).

Love the school. Instructors are very knowledgeable, friendly, and connect well with the kids. They focus importantly on the survival skills but also on technique and energy efficiency. Our daughter is doing great.

Loved the swimming classes at the British Swim School at John Jay College. Pedro, our son’s instructor is great, he had a lot of patience and great attitude towards our 3y old boy.

The overall staff and venue are great - (e.g., clean, nice bathrooms, safety considerations, swimming toys, etc) - the pool is a bit cool but our son has been using a wet suit and it works perfectly.

My 5-year-old son started attending the Turtle 1 class about a month ago, and he has been progressing very well and quickly. Coach Kiana is great with kids — she’s energetic, kind, and knows how to motivate them to push forward to the next level. My son really enjoys her class. The pool is clean and well-maintained. The water feels a bit cool at first, but the temperature is actually comfortable, especially since October.
