Our recent stay at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Nokomis was absolutely delightful! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with a seamless check-in process with Frandi and that set the tone for our entire stay. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home.

One of the highlights of our mornings was the delicious warm breakfast. The variety was impressive, but the pancake maker was definitely our favorite! There’s nothing quite like starting the day with freshly made pancakes paired with various toppings. It made for a perfect family breakfast experience. The morning breakfast staff are also very friendly and professional.

The rooms were immaculate and had a fresh, modern look. The sheets were not only clean but also smelled wonderful, which added a touch of luxury to our stay. It was evident that the cleaning service took great pride in their work; each time we returned from a day at the beach, our room was beautifully refreshed and inviting. The cleaning and custodial staff were not only efficient but incredibly friendly, always ready to engage with a smile if we had any questions or requests.

A special shout-out goes to Frandi at the front desk, who was a true gem during our stay. Working from 3-11 PM, she was always there to greet us with warmth and enthusiasm. Her extensive knowledge of the area made our trip even better, as she provided us with fantastic food and beach recommendations. It was clear that she has a genuine love for the community, and her passion made our experience all the more special. I truly can’t wait to travel back here and see Frandi again. She made the trip even more special.

Overall, this hotel is perfectly situated near beautiful beaches, making it an ideal choice for a vacation. We highly recommend staying here if you're looking for a relaxing getaway filled with friendly service and wonderful amenities. I want to take a moment to recognize Frandi at the front desk who assisted us during our stay. She was absolutely wonderful from the moment we arrived. She was friendly, welcoming, professional, and genuinely went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of

It’s not often that you encounter someone who clearly takes pride in providing great customer service, but she truly stood out. She made us feel welcomed and valued, and her positive attitude made a real difference in our experience

Employees like her are a huge asset to any hotel. Management should know what a great representative of the hotel she is.

Wife and I stayed here for a few nights as our jvac system in our home died and we needed an escape from the heat..

The room was in great condition, clean sheets and bathroom..the freezing cold ac was the best part for us haha! The complimentary breakfast was also surprisingly excellent ( just wish the hours were a little longer)..loved the location to the beach near by as well..staff was also very courteous and helpful..the price was decent, a little much for us but definitely worth it and cheaper than a few other hotels at this level..anything cheaper wouldnt have been nearly as nice as this one with the amenities they provide so definitely worth it!

Would definitely stay again for a future getaway and would recommend to anyone!

The hotel is newer and clean with a great location. The staff is what makes this hotel special. Frandi and Hailey checked us in and gave so much information about what to do in the area. Hailey overheard us talking about the tea place next door and offered us coupons that she happened to have that day. Every single person we encountered always greeted us with a smile. Both Amanda and Frandi were very kind and loaned us sifters and other beach items for our shark teeth hunting adventure. The free breakfast was tasty with a nice selection of hot and cold foods to choose from. Hailey and Hugo were there each morning keeping the place well stocked and tidy. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

5 stars for sure! Great location. Close to the beaches and restaurants. Hotel is clean and smells amazing. Staff is professional and friendly. Amanda at the front desk is very accommodating. Breakfast was good. The only thing I’d change is making the cheese omelets daily and the breakfast potatoes daily.
