One of the nicest hotels I’ve stayed in a long time. The service is phenomenal, the food is great. The view of the beach from my room on 1518 was probably the nicest view I’ve ever had. They have so many different restaurants, Lolita’s Coastal Cocina being my favorite. All the staff are very friendly and professional. I did a longer term stay and both Jay and Alexis were very accommodating when it came to giving me a good rate for a longer term stay. Dominic, who manages thethe Drift Restaurant was also very accommodating and was giving me different menu options since I was staying for longer, so I did not feel like I was always eating the same meals. The hotel was built in 2025 so it’s very new and has a very modern design. I love it, I’ll definitely be back.

Our first trip to Opal Sol was fantastic! Even before we arrived, Daisy at the front desk was incredibly helpful over the phone, answering all of our questions about the hotel and the surrounding area. We didn't get the chance to meet her in person until a few days into our stay, and she was just as friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable as she had been on the phone.

We also want to recognize Sophie at the front desk, who provided exceptional customer service while assisting our family members with their check-in.

Our room was wonderful, and the view was spectacular. Overlooking the Gulf and being able to watch dolphins from our room made the experience even more memorable. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, especially spending time on the beautiful beach.

We would definitely recommend this resort and are already looking forward to visiting again!

We stayed at Opal Sol Resort in Clearwater Florida. All staff members were customer oriented and genuinely concerned about our stay. Our one bedroom suite with gulf view, kitchen, extended patio, and on patio hot tub with privacy was outstanding. The two walls of windows were glorious with plenty of beach scenery, sunsets, and early morning sunrays for coffee drinking. On site restaurants and bars provided excellent service overall. We did have a service issue at Toast for breakfast and raised our disappointment to the managers attention. We also had a service issue poolside where our food order was lost. The manager reordered and comped our order. All other experiences were outstanding from bar service to dining service. We celebrated our anniversary at the Drift restaurant and the staff presented us with a rose petal decorated table and a hand written card. We were in need of a true vacation with quiet, rest, and relaxation. The Opal Sol exceeded our expectations. The trip was memorable in every way.

My stay at Opal Sol Resort was nothing short of spectacular. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcomed and taken care of. Check-in was fast, the lobby is gorgeous, and you can tell right away that this is a high-end resort that pays attention to every detail.The rooms are spacious, modern, and incredibly comfortable. We had a Gulf-front room and it was worth every penny. The bed was perfect, the bathroom was spotless with great water pressure, and the balcony was huge. But the real showstopper is the view. I can honestly say Opal Sol has the best sunset view from the rooms that I’ve ever seen. Every evening we’d step out onto the balcony with a drink and watch the sky turn shades of orange, pink, and purple over the Gulf. It felt like a private show every night. If you stay here, do yourself a favor and book a sunset-facing room.Beyond the views, the amenities are top tier. The pools are beautiful and well-maintained, the beach service is excellent, and there are great dining options on site. The location can’t be beat either. You’re right on Clearwater Beach with easy access to Pier 60, restaurants, and shops, but the resort itself feels like a relaxing escape.The staff deserve special mention. Everyone from housekeeping to the front desk to the pool attendants was friendly and professional. They genuinely seemed to want us to have the best experience possible.If you’re looking for a luxury beach vacation with jaw-dropping sunsets, Opal Sol Resort is it. This was our first time but definitely not our last. Already planning to come back next year.

We had a wonderful stay and thoroughly enjoyed our Gulf View room. The amenities were excellent, and the pool staff were exceptional—friendly, attentive, and welcoming throughout our stay.

Unfortunately, our experience with the front desk staff and shuttle driver was quite different. Their attitude came across as unwelcoming and unfriendly, which was disappointing. As guests who spent thousands of dollars for a week-long stay, we expected to feel valued and welcomed. While the property itself was fantastic, the level of customer service from some staff members did not reflect the quality of the resort.
