I am extremely concerned about the disgusting hygiene practices I have repeatedly witnessed at this Starbucks location.

Employees use the same wet, visibly dirty towel to wipe the milk-steaming wand after preparing multiple drinks. They then throw that same damp, filthy towel onto the countertop, pick it up again, and use it for the next customer’s drink.

Just imagine how much leftover milk accumulates in that towel. Who knows how often it is actually washed or replaced? Old milk residue can spoil and encourage bacterial growth, especially in a constantly damp towel. On top of that, the towel picks up additional dirt and potential contamination from the countertop before being rubbed against the steam wand again. Instead of cleaning the equipment, you’re potentially spreading even more contamination. It’s almost like giving customers a free bonus of germs with their coffee!

Please use fresh, disposable cleaning cloths instead of repeatedly using that filthy, wet towel!

Even more disgusting, I once personally witnessed an employee put their finger inside their nose and then, without washing their hands, use that same hand to touch and place the lid on another customer’s coffee cup. This is absolutely revolting and unacceptable.

Another time, while I was picking up my coffee, I witnessed another customer ask an employee to wash the drink preparation container because it was visibly dirty. Just imagine how bad the hygiene must be when customers themselves have to remind employees to wash their equipment before using it!

On several occasions, the coffee I ordered here had a horrible, unpleasant, almost spoiled smell. It was so disgusting that I started paying closer attention to how my drinks were being prepared, which is when I noticed these disturbing practices. I genuinely don’t know whether the smell comes from old milk residue left in unwashed containers, the dirty towel, or something else, but it has happened repeatedly.

If these are the things I can clearly see as a customer, I can only imagine what else might be happening that customers don’t see. Many people simply order ahead, pick up their drinks, and leave without seeing how their coffee is prepared.

I strongly encourage other customers to stay and watch how their drinks are prepared instead of just picking them up and leaving. You might notice things you would otherwise never know about. If enough customers speak up and report these issues repeatedly, maybe management will finally take action and improve the hygiene standards.

This is the closest Starbucks to my home, yet I sometimes choose to drive farther to another location because I no longer feel comfortable ordering here.

To be fair, I’ve noticed that quality and cleanliness have declined at many other Starbucks locations as well. However, I have never personally witnessed such obvious, repeated, and disturbing hygiene practices anywhere else.

Starbucks management, please take these concerns seriously. Customers should not have to remind employees to wash dirty equipment or worry about what might be getting into their drinks. This location urgently needs proper sanitation, better employee training, and much closer supervision. Basic hygiene is not too much to ask!

It was empty, no customers were there. I went to the cashier and stood there. Dakota was making a drink (online order most probably). Didn’t acknowledge me or my mom. I waited patiently and then he started making another drink. We still waited for about 5-6 minutes standing there. Still no acknowledgment, he didnt even make eye contact.
So when he started making his 4th drink, I asked him if the store was open, and he said yeah but he has like 10 drinks to make.
I asked him if I should come back later and he said yes.
I told him he could have informed us that he was busy instead of just making us wait there for 5 minutes.
I understand he was working alone and had a lot of online orders, but he could have atleast acknowledged our presence.
I dont know if these people go through any sort of customer training or not.
At this point, I believe the guy just didnt want to take my order and was hoping we would just go away.

I wanted to share feedback about my experience today. I placed a mobile order through the Starbucks app and, when I picked it up, I asked the barista if I could also get a pup cup for my dog. Since pup cups aren’t available as an option in the app, I assumed it was appropriate to ask when picking up my order.

The barista initially assumed I hadn’t purchased a drink. After I explained that I had a mobile order and picked up my drink, she told me I would have to stand in line to get a pup cup. While I understand if that’s the store’s policy, her tone and facial expressions came across as dismissive and unfriendly. In fact, the customer behind me even commented that the staff “needed to smile more” because of the barista’s attitude.

I’m not upset about being told the policy if that’s the expectation, but I do think customers should be treated with courtesy and respect. If pup cups require waiting in line, it would also be helpful if that policy were communicated more clearly, since there’s no way to request one through the mobile app

It’s been like almost 2 years since I’ve started visiting this place. I’m almost a regular customer to this store and found this place very peaceful to have some fav coffee during early hours of the day . They know exactly what I want and they even helped me with some suggestions to the new products that I wanted to try. I didn’t see much of crowd during the early mornings. #WhiteChocolateMocha and #caramelMacchiato are my favorites. The service is quick and good . Below are some of my clicks from this store......
